Tell me reasons why you wouldn´t run Whispers´´´ every match?

Because I do.

It´s my permanent perk in mostly any build. I genuinely don´t see reasons why not have it always with any Killer.

    Because I need BBQ BP

For me, whe. Whispers goes off I spend too much time looking around the area for the survivors. If it's a map with 2 levels like RPD then I find it wastes more time.

I just may not be using it properly.. but still I just pass on it.

I already run shadowborn and bbq on every killer. I need more slots, not less

I used it a lot as a new player but I haven’t touched it since then. It was helpful back then when I didn’t really know how to find survivors but now I feel like I don’t really need it and I’d rather have other perks, especially as someone who uses BBQ a lot for points anyway.

It isn’t a bad perk by any means though. And it pretty much guarantees a 4k if you close hatch.

BBQ is more important than giving the voices in my head a perk slot.

The range is too big, it covers such a wide area I can spend minutes searching for the survivor triggering it.

The noise is too loud, it drowns out the noises survivors make, making it harder to find them.

There are better perks to locate survivors.

I also really hate the whisper noises. The perk description says it's supposed to be "sporadic whispers", but it's really non-stop whisper noises. I'd be fine if they buffed the perk so it didn't add any noises, since we still have the perk icon to tell us when someone is in the area.

I believe shadowborn should be either lightborn or whispers really, try.

Because I have trouble focusing when multiple audio stimulants are present and I haven't learned to do a task. I haven't learned the game with Whispers and so me using it causes more harm than good to my ability to track.

Gonna be honest the perk genuinely confuses me and hurts me more than it helps

Removing whispers from my build was genuinely harder than removing shadowborn, but for the better. It really helps with hearing survivors breathing and walking sounds, grass etc.

same. I'm addicted. Even though it tends to get less value mid game, early and late make up for it imo.

Whispers has it uses but I often don’t need it to find survivors unless they are being very immersive.

The current in game culture though is to play very bold.

Most games survivors just run everywhere and do very little to hide their presence so they give themselves away making whispers unnecessary.

I don’t know when bold play overtook cautious play but it rendered a number of perks not really needed.

The Whispers sound effect annoys me too much. It's a shame, because I'd use the perk otherwise.
