Hopefully Dead Hard gets nerfed to the ground

Once it does killers will actually be able to stand a chance when it comes to chase. I can't tell how many times a survivor dead hard to another pallet or loop extended the chase while gens are flying by when they should have been downed.

I would suggest trying Unrelenting for a few matches. You will get value from it. It won't stop the distance use but you can get them before they can get to another safe tile or window during a chase many times.

    *M1 killers

some killers are doing quite fine against Dead Hard, which might get them nerfed

I could but doing a killer build with that and exhaustion perks like blood echo just to counter 1 perk is ridiculous

Unrelenting counters good jukers who don't have dead hard too. It also allows you to bait hook and window grabs.

Back in the day, I used it to bait hatch grabs.

Is it just me or am I skeptical it will really solve a lot? A lot of people overreact on the forum.

Can’t wait for everyone to start complaining about sprint burst right after (Though thank god dead hard is finally getting what it deserves)

I don't think I'm overreacting. I really do believe that if it gets changed or nerfed it will help killers. Mainly M1 killers end chases in a reasonable time and survivors will actually have to outsmart the killer when it comes to looping.

I don't really use dead hard that much anymore but I will say if dead hard ever does anything different other than dash forward to avoid damage at the press of a button then I think a lot of survivor mains are going to be pretty upset. Dead hard is more than just a chase extender perk. Its also a play maker perk. One of the things I used dead hard for before was to fake out camping killers and avoid a hook trade by timing the unhook with the recovery of the killer's M1 so I could dead hard after the unhook and get the save. DH is a multi-situational perk so I don't know how well any kind of nerf to it is going to be received by the community.

One change I was thinking is another survivor has to take a protection hit before dead hard activates. What do you guys think?

At this point I would legitimately be SHOCKED if the perk wasn't completely reworked with a different ability

It will change nothing. The people who are good loopers don't need it. They'll play slightly safer. That's it.

Launch this crutch perk into the sun. Give me 4 SBs I don't care. Anything to get rid of having to "bait it out" just to watch them make the pallet or window and extend the chase 30 seconds like 8 times a game. With my luck though they'll buff it or "nerf" it by adding 10 seconds to the exhaustion timer
