Ugh, no. Paying for progression makes me feel filthy and I've dropped games for less. The industry as a whole is unmitigably worse off for how extreme this sort of thing has gotten.
Cosmetics & content - yes
Paying money to make a bar go up faster - god no

Yeah well I'd still pay for the option ;) and I have 5k hours. If you don't like it don't buy it.
Edit: And tbh people that throw around "I'll drop the game" are already looking for an excuse to drop the game. And you'd probably keep playing it anyway like you always do. "Nerf dead hard or I'll quit the game" those same people still play the game. Or the current forum feedback as of today "Nerf Nurse or Delete her"...."Or I'll Quit the game"... will you? Do they? No. Nor do I GAF. Give me the option to have double exp all the time. I am dead set tired of playing for 30 minutes for 15k to buy 2-3 perks in one blood web. Thanks you can have $$$.

5k Hours and you don't have absolutely everything you were interested in in the store?

I've always thought it was weird the that the premium rift pass doesn't have any incentives. Other games with battlepasses have bonused that reward players for having the pass. In dbd however, there is no incentive other than the cosmetics, so if you're worried you won't get to 70 to get your auric cells back, you can just wait until you get 70 then just buy the premium track and get it all back instantly. Double experience sounds a little nutty, but something small like 15% extra blood points and experience for premium owners would be nice without really being a significant push towards pay to win.

If you actually look at this history of gaming, this is a real phenomenon that has created legitimate issues within gaming. Not everyone is "looking for an excuse to drop the game." There are real tolls to how games monetize themselves, such as exploiting addiction through unhealthy feedback loops and "Fear of Missing Out." I don't think it's right to shame someone because they believe in ethical business practices. Please keep in mind too, that just because a bunch of people say something for a certain reason, doesn't mean that someone else who says something similar thinks the same way. We're all individuals with our own beliefs and motivations.
