Gotta say I'm not too big of a fan of the look of it, but it's very nice that we can finally see the survivor players' characters in the tally screen

From what I got from these pictures:
- New prestige icons (depending on your level, there will be probably tiers of look - that grey damaged look seems like first few levels).
- All players will now see (instead of previous grades) your character prestige.

It's effectively confirmed that it's just a fancy icon, then. At least the UI looks nice.

I noticed the mori thing too, thatβs interesting. Seems like they were indeed testing perks too, every perk on there is on the list of changes except for kindred on Dwight. Could have easily been a bleedout tho

I don't know if it's just placeholder text, but I feel like it'd be better if the player name was the large font and the character name was the smaller font, but that's just a personal preference.

The other two images that didn't have MauriceLives had really large strings that kind of looked like codes, but putting them in verbatim didn't register as a valid code - anyone have any ideas on if there's something hidden there? Seems a bit obtuse to be a test name...

I think it's this way around because when they add the streamer mode, you'll be able to hide your name.

I think they said during the anniversary livestream that Mori will get a change. Like... You'll be able to Mori the last Survivor without an offering or something similar. I don't remember well the details, only the fact Mori will get a change.

I assume with the new prestige levels in the end scoreboard will just result in you being called a sweaty try hard for being prestige 80 on a killer or something

I like that the end game will say what characters everyone played. The little survivor/killer icons at the end of the addons though just seem so unnecessary and out of place like they were thrown on, they should remove them - we know who is killer/survivor without those thanks to both the status icon and now the character name.
Wonder how quickly players will use prestige level as reason they had bad matchmaking because they have prestige 1 new character v prestige 10 Trapper. π

the prestige icons are hopefully still worked on, they don't look that nice.
The Stlye is nice, but the graphics are very cheap looking, like a Photoshop 6 Present

I didn't remember the timeline for the Mori. That's probably too early to speak about it, and the icon was probably here to showcase them all in the end game screen.

I've noticed as well that Meg's Prestige is Silver(?) with more Entity tendrils around it yet is a lower level.
I wonder if that means every (x) prestige levels puts you back to a new colour icon up until Iridescent, i.e. Bronze Prestige 1-10, Silver Prestige 1-10, Gold 1-10, Iri 1-Infinity(?). Would fit the theme.

I can't wait to Prestige my Killer to Oblivion while I'm never playing them, then suddenly play Killer to be insulted because I'm prestige 8349203 and I'm a big noobie.

I feel like the silver colour means you've hit P3 pre-update, and the Entity tendrils signifies something else (like how close you are to level 50)

Prediction for when this goes life: about 2 posts per day going "OMG! I am just starting out as killer and the game constantly throws my poor ass at this try-hard P3 survivors who eat me for lunch. How is this even fair?!!!11".
Slight variations possible "OMG! Me and my mates are returning to DBD and the game constantly feeds us to this tryhard camping and tunneling P3 killers. How is this even fair?!!!11".

It could be that. The Silver one is 5, but some of the Bronze ones have higher numbers. Unless you hit Silver when you reach Bronze 10...

This exactly. I hope BHVR sees that this will just cause the same confusion that showing Grades did. Just show the survivor portrait or something. Any kind of number/emblem is 100% going to confuse new/casual players.

Until they stop putting anything other than their mmr next to their names in lobby they are going to continue confusing players. Prestige level next to peoples name is just going to mess with people who are newer to the gameβ¦again. I donβt get why this is so difficult.

To be fair, on one hand I can totally see that; they are testing all this updated perks, so it makes sense that they would be using them instead of your classical meta perks or builds.
ON THE OTHER HAND, during the current event we get all this lovely messages of developers, and one shared the lil secret, that she was responsible for hiding all this little secrets and needle in a haystack titbits in the official press releases and that she really liked this sneaky stuff, so take that into consideration, too.
