dredge
So how is the dredge doing against a good survivor squad? is he still good? gets stumped on? i believe he's more like an average killer that's good against newly or mediocre survivors; what is your thought on this?

He is strong in my opinion, but generally balanced. He should still do well even against really good survivor teams, thanks to his great map pressure, and being quite the threat during Nightfall.
Plus his anti-loop is also decent enough, despite it being definitely not nearly as strong as many other anti-loop abilities.

i don't know but his remnant "anti" loop power feels a bit weak. when i teleport to it, it always get disoriented and the survivor is out of my way. any tips on how to place it the best way

I'd give him mid B or so on a tier list. In general I think people vastly over rate him.
He's getting trashed by even a semi decent SWF squad that knows what they're doing.

I have had Dredge games where I have only had 2 hooks but they are rare. Some players are really amazing and pull off escapes by a hair and if they have support from their team taking hits etc they can avoid death. I think most killers in the cast would struggle against 4 great players all on one team. It is a learning experience and I keep in mind cheating is still a thing... so I just do my best.
I still have fun with Dredge even if some or all escape. His M1 feels good and his mobility and power feel like they have an impact.

Low B imo.
- Remnant is completely in survivors control unless you're in a total deadzone of nothingness which is rather rare
- Locking lockers slows dredge down two-fold, one in terms of raw mobility. And the othher FAR more valuable variant which is if he tries to use his power mid-chase. Being giiven a free mini DS stun each time he TPS into a locked locker has some pretty insane value. Additionally it takes longer to break a lock than it does to put one on. A dredge smashing locks on every locker is one who will lose the game. It's basiically a self 1 second stun to break one. That doesn't even get into the fun of auto lock logic which means even if you do invest in smashing locks you will stiill get stunned at dual lockers.
- TLDR: Against a good swf who understands him you will be na M1 killer who mini-fatigues yourself if you try to take advantage of your power.
Edit: Just to clarify, this is against GOOD survivors. Everyone has experienced the whole "omg I plopped down my remnant and the survivor non-stop looped up to it and I got a free hit because of it!" Or the "I teleport In front of the survivor to a locker and get a free hit! Even outside of nightfall!" Good survivors will not fall for these tricks.

Face the direction you intend to force the survivor to and then just follow the survivor until they are close to the remnant. Survivors are evolving so there is a mind game there. Sometimes it is better not to use the power. Test them by holding the power and seeing if they try to double back anticipating you going to a locker or teleporting to the remnant. You can then just release the power and they are out of position. There is also an add-on that changes the way the remnant facing works.

If they’re good survivors who seem to know how to handle your power, then try this:
Lets say you’re at an AutoHaven loop with a pallet between 2 cars and the survivor is standing in the pallet. Face the pallet and plop out a shard (remember, you always come out of the shard facing the same direction as when you create it). Now back up to go the other way around the loop.
If the survivor stays at the loop, then they’ll be between you and your shard. Often they’ll throw the pallet at this point and slowly approach your shard - they’re trying to bait your teleport. When they feel they’re in striking range of a teleport hit, they’ll suddenly run and vault the pallet. If you teleported, you’ll miss. If you don’t, then just let go of your power and slash them as they vault into your waiting arms! You might even get a pallet grab!
It’s hard for survivors to watch you and your shard at the same time, so there’s definitely mindgame potential here. Doesn’t work every time, but it’s the best way I know for hitting the better survivors. Of course, if they just run from the loop then you’re back to being an M1 killer.
