Hate twins?
I don't hate the twins I just needed a title but on that why do people hate the twins or find them annoying? Everykiller is annoying or hated for some reason by someone but I'm asking why twins because during my solo Q games alot of survivors DC an I'm usual F*d since it's a 2v1 at 5-4 gens. Can anyone explain?

Idk they can't do the simple counterplay of staying in groups of 2 to force the twins player to go to them.

In order for Twins to be effective they need to split a lot of pressure, this includes slugging and camping. People don't like killer that is good at two of these at the same time.
Also Killer players dislike Twins because of what their playstyle promotes in order to be optimal (playing fair and just hook one by one with this killer takes a lot extra time, switching between Charlot and Victor) and they are the most clunky (so many long cooldowns) killer to play as.

Victor’s pounce is seen as unavoidable, and their kit is slug heavy; if anything, simply because of the terrible five second pounce cooldown nerf Victor has after every pounce now. But also because a good Twins player will go for multiple hits with Victor at once.
He does also have a very quick respawn timer (only six seconds).

When I started with dbd I hated them purly because of bad expiriences. So I can backup the previous statements. Of course the playstyle varies from player to player, but chances (imo) are high, that you got a twinplayer, who slugs everyone and then just waits until everyone has run out of blood. But when my mmr got better that changed too.

Honestly i don't get it either, i think it's fun getting chased by victor and if i get camped and tunneled oh well that's just regular DBD experience, definitely not something exclusive to Twins lol. The only thing that annoys me ig is if you're the last survivor left, the hatch is closed and they can just camp both gates, but again many killers can do similar things and it happens only rarely so it's not that bad.

It’s easier to make excuses than learn counter play. That’s typically why.

I used to hate them, up until I startd to bring Bond into my solo matches on a regular basis. That makes it much easier to coordinate heals etc so now I don't hate them anymore.
The problem is the amount of time you where slugged. Really boring.

The most effective Twins strategy is to slug and that is pretty boring for the survivors so they DC.

Bond+Kindred+Open Handed is just such a good info build. People handwave them away as "training wheel perks" because they can use coms, but there is such a vast difference betwenn knowing where something is taking place and ACTUALLY seeing it. Kindred+Open Handed gives you such an unparalleled info in the killer it aint funny, and it might be more advantageous to keep someone hanging for a bit longer, just so you can know the killers every step and move.

You're right. I use Bond with Open Handed so I know what my teammates are doing from very far away. I also bring prove Thyself just in case they are on a gen so we can do it faster. As 4th perk I bring We'll make it because of 100% fast heals once I unhook a survivor for 90 seconds

I never understand this thinking that slugging is more boring than being hooked. At least if you’re slugged you can crawl around and maybe get yourself back up once a match with certain perks. Plus slugging killers tend to proactively get back into chases against other survivors much more quickly since they’re cutting out about 10 seconds per carry after each down, so there’s more chases for all the other survivors versus just staring at a gen the whole time.
