Bloodwarden Buff
Currently Bloodwarden gets countered really hard by 99d gates which is why NWO is so popular compared to it, to somewhat alleviate this issue maybe consider giving bloodwarden the small additional effect of blocking the gates for 15 seconds when the EGC is triggered, that way 99d gates don't completly hard counter the perk.

I don't like that idea personally, I think it's more fun if the survivors can choose to 99 the gates but they always have to have bloodwarden on the back of their minds if they do, since it can get them killed if the killer has it.
edit: To elaborate, If the gates just regressed there is no gotcha from the killer, no risk/reward consideration from the survivors. Instead of trying to make altruistic clutch plays to bring the game back as killer, survivors will open the gate they'll maybe make a single attempt at rescuing but more likely they'll just take the 3 out. They won't even try to make a clutch play because the game gets boiled down to a straight forward binary decision, is the survivor hooked near the gate? If so open and try to make the save. Is the survivor not hooked near the gate? Oh well they're dead just take the 3 out and let the match end.

No Way Out already exists as a perk that blocks exit gate levers, use that one if that's what you want.

99% gates don't hard counter BW. Open the gate yourself, hook the survivor and trigger BW. You're wanting mind games that lead into a 4k but you're getting upset they aren't playing into your games.
That small additional effect would scream you have Blood Warden and destroy any element of surprise. Please do not ruin my favorite perk.

I've always liked the idea of having Bloodwaren trigger as soon as the first gate is open if you managed to hook a Survivor before a gate is opened.

Seconding this.
If you hook a survivor after the gates are powered, but before they're opened, Blood Warden triggers as soon as they open.
In fact, I feel this change would specifically, and permanently, end the 99% gates meta. Because the current strat almost always involves 99%ing the gates, and finishing them when the killer is relatively close, 99%ing a killer with Blood Warden, especially an instadown killer, would be disastrous as the killer can see all of you and you can't get out.
The end result: survivors are forced to open gates instead of 99%ing them, in order to check for Blood Warden, so if the killer has the perk, they can hide or otherwise prepare for it and not be caught by surprise.
(Mind you, this version of the perk would be absolutely broken, as if you run both BW and NWO you can guarantee a BW trigger, and by extension, over 2 minutes seconds of killing time after the last generator is powered, virtually every single match if you manage to get 3-4 NWO tokens)

Sorta like how Adrenaline procs when you get unhooked, if the last generator was completed while you were hanging out?

Perhaps we can do a thing where the amount of time Bloodwarden lasts can scale to the number of remaining Survivors?
