Am I wrong to say blight is the hardest killer in the game?

Like from a pure power standpoint and mechanical skill, I've played every single killer but blight feels like he has the hardest power to learn and master. That's honestly why I feel fine with blight being super good because it's like, if you can get that good with him you deserve to do well because he's just hard to play. I def feel like he's harder than nurse tbh.

For me, Nurse/Blight and Billy are pretty close in terms of learning curve. I am very much looking forward to custom bot matches where I can put some time in with them and not have to eat poop in live games.

Billy from a mechanical skill point, but the bang isn't worth the buck. After that it's a coinflip between Nurse and Blight.

but his FOV makes me feel sick for some reason

Yes, the most difficult killer to land hits with and can easily be juked with decent survivors.

Blight is the hardest for technical skill but Nurse is the hardest for mind games.

I mean honestly it was the opposite with me, to me there is just hardly any learning curve on a character as strong as nurse. Like AT MOST all I needed to learn was prediction and get used to how survivors play but that's also because I was new to the game in general. Once you know how survivors move it's really just blink and ignore any sort of map environment and get free downs, and ofc deal with the occasional (and by occasional I mean every game) dead hard.

    Yes, I'd say so.

Blight has a very high skill cap, but his skill 'floor' is lower than others.

I'd say the hardest killer in the game is Billy, followed by Oni and maybe even Deathslinger. Nurse and Cenobite are no picnic either.

I think Pyramid Head is harder...

Billy is the hardest one, then Blight ( if you dont use his exploits )

I've wanted this bot mode ever since I took my first flight lessons with Skybilly :(

It didn't take too long to get to a reasonable level with blight, especially as the game really liked giving me lerys over and over so you have to be pretty precise for that. Probably rusty af right now though.

Killers harder to learn for me personally:

Nurse - I will forever suck at nurse

Billy - see above also it just doesn't feel worth it to learn properly sadly

Artist - just in terms of crossmap shots, the rest isn't so complicated

I think Blight, Billy and Nurse are some of the hardest killers. Nurse is all about muscle memory and prediction, while Billy and Blight are harder to control. Which of these you find most difficult is subjective. I mean I even know god nurses who struggle playing M1 Killers.

To me, nurse feels the hardest but like some people say that oni and billy are harder meanwhile I have never had any issues with either just nurse

I feel like the biggest difference between them is that if you're struggling, Blight can always fall back on being an M1 killer. It's truly laughable that he's 115.

Nurse is very much sink or swim, there's no option to opt out of her power and still do somewhat well in most chases.

Neither are really hard honestly. Nurse is hard for the first like 4 games and then it just becomes a point and click game without much thought, and blight is kind of tricky with learning his exploits but honest blight takes like one game to learn how to bump off things to hit people.

He's second hardest. Billy is first. Nurse is not hard at all.

Crossmap shots are hard to get but man do they feel good. It's probably the only fun thing I find about playing artist

It's that and setting up nice sequence hits. Last time I played her I saw a Jeff go into the basement with BBQ, set bird 1 pointing towards the basement, set bird 2 at the top of the basement stairs, go into basement, m1 Jeff who was rudely going through a chest, he runs out, I fire, bird 1 hits just as he gets swarmed by bird 2 and he goes down

I might upload that one I was very pleased with it

He's a hard killer for sure but for me Hillbilly is definitely the hardest one to master and to enjoy beceause he can just be frustrating and sometimes it's not even your fault it's just the maps and the devs that hate our poor Billyboi.

Garbage collision, there are some loops where you cannot even use your chainsaw you have to play as a crap M1 killer there's just so too much frustration when playing as Hillbilly I am decent I can curve but even when I make a good play I feel like the game tells me to fk off,I only have this feeling with Billy.

    Oni - Blight - Hillbilly

IMO, hardest to easiest of the toughest three

I think in terms of skill floor, i.e. being able to play a killer at a basic level starting out and do ok with them, Nurse has the highest difficulty out of the gate. Until you actually play her a bit and get used to teleporting to precisely where you want to go you will lose every single game because she literally can’t chase people with just basic attacks (barring using an add-on that increases her movement speed). In contrast Blight can do ok simply using his Rush for map mobility and to catch up to survivors after a hit and then chasing people normally with his basic attacks, he doesn’t actually have to rely on hitting Lethal Rushes all the time.

On the flip side, though, Blight probably has a higher skill ceiling in that once you’ve played Nurse a long time her strategies are kind of straightforward, whereas Blight has a lot of subtlety in lining up Lethal Rush hits at loops. I suspect there’s a lot of room to continue to improve over time with Blight even after you’ve gotten his basics down whereas with Nurse once you can consistently hit Blink attacks there’s not that much else to know really.

Blight requires a lot of map knowledge/understanding of collision and a plan in your head for where your bumps will be depending on where the survivor goes

Blight feels way harder than Nurse. I was able to pick up Nurse after a couple games and start 4king. Blight is pretty hard, especially when he just slides off objects you'd think that you would slam.

With all these people saying that Nurse is easy I would expect to have seen more good Nurse players but since they are few and far between I am having a hard time believing it.

Mm. I didn't find Blight or Nurse all that difficult to get the hang of. Obviously I'm no expert, but I can do pretty well.

Artist...the real trick is understanding loops and structures well enough to pop down birds and fire them at the right time to injure. Crossmap shots is just prediction and leading a target.

Billy and Oni require a lot of work to even start to succeed with.

It's often an MMR thing - once you get to grips with her, a Nurse can roll over teams in a way that very few killers can, so good Nurse players tend to cluster together at very high MMRs. You don't see all that many at lower MMRs for this reason.

You're not alone, Blight is much harder than Nurse and Billy to me, like Oni (the one I couldn't handle too).

I was wondering how you managed to walk down the basement in time, the add-ons choice was on point for this one!
