Nurse got buffed again, good job bhvr 😩
Nothing will stop tunnelers from tunneling, not a 5s bt, let's also reduce the stun of ds from 5 to 3s to let tunnelers have a better chance while doing it, for m1 killers is not a big deal but against nurse it will be a NIGHTMARE, 5s is not even enough atm to make enough distance, imagine 3s.
You wanted to disincentivize tunneling but all you did is the opposite, i don't know how you can even imagine to touch the meta and leave nurse untouched, suicide at hook/DC against her is already a serious problem, you just made it worse, i won't imagine solo experience against her.

Off the Record?

Btw is it me or did the Nurse get shadow buffed? I've played against a Nurse a couple of times in the last few days and the Nurse literally bodyblocked me during phasing. I don't remember that being a thing. She was able to stand in my path while phasing, bodyblocked me from proceeding to run further, teleported to me and got a free hit or a free down. I think before she could teleport to me and I'd be bodyblocking her, but not the other way around. Did anyone else notice that after the last patch? Or was it like this before? - This is literally during phasing, not after teleporting, but during. It's like her collision moved to the teleporting point prior to her model.

So we have to rely on a perk because of bad game design, the fact that everyone is running anti tunnel builds isn't the reason why they made this meta change?
If i have to use off the record every single game just to deny tunneling, let me say it, bhvr fixed nothing.
"We know why those perks are used and we will make adjustments accordingly"
After seeing the results I don't think you know why

You talked about a perk that was nerfed, so I talk about one notable perk buff that you missed that is extremely relevant to the gripes you are putting forth.

I do find it strange that they removed DS from end game, reduced the stun time and then just changed OTR to different version of what DS was so end game stays the same by changing one perk.
It makes me think if the people working on the perks spoke to each other or if they were each given some and asked to change them up.
3 -
Well i was expecting a fix to don't feel the need to run an anti tunnel perk at all, not the creation of a stronger perk cuz if it makes it to live the way it is will become a must having perk.
After all they did this change to create variety not to create another stale meta in the near future

Fair enough.

I mean wasnt deactivate at endgame requested a lot? So your not forced to watch a survivor crawl out with there being nothing you can do? I personally hated it for only that reason
1 -
As i said this is good for m1 killers, but nurse can just catch up instantly by charging her blinks, 5 seconds isn't enough to make distance, imagine 3

Of course it was and I am happy with that change but not the stun of 3s.
The issue is they did not change the end game issue. They swapped the meta from DS to OTR. 80s endurance after a hook still means an extra health state and you get the speed boost from the hit.
Why fix the issue with one perk and make another do the same Just a different effect? It's like a bait and switch.

Wasnt 3 seconds DS normal before that "Enduring" compensation that wasnt removed after the Enduring nerf?
0 -
For people thinking new OTR will save them, the endurance effect from OTR, BT, and the new basekit mini BT (5 seconds lol) won't stack. So all the killer will need to do is hit you once immediately after an unhook and all those perks are disabled.
Easy tunneling and gen speeds approaching old Forever Freddy territory. This should go well...

Have not seen a trusted thread in a looooong time.

So was the Corrupt Intervention change a nerf to Nurse? Don't we need to be logically consistent?
I guess the buffed Plague and Legion because of Thano changes too.
1 -
As you said it doesn't matter whether it's 3 or 5 seconds with her. But if it was 3 seconds and disabled use of the killer's power for a short period after that, it could actually hit nurse the hardest.
2 -
Oh, so we should just expect killer players to ignore the easiest path available to win? Because the opposing sides of this game have such a long history of empathizing with each other and playing in a fun way? If you remember the update where DS was bugged and half the killers had no stun from it, expect similar results.
1 -
Not stacking won't help as in most cases even with current BT the unhooker or others would take a hit first to get the speed boost and then the one with BT or DS would try to block and take a hit.
While it removes the BT into DS scenario (tbh in most cases having both did not matter as one was enough to get out) it still leaves the issue where there is no way to counter a perk for 80s apart from to not hit them so it is either let them out or hit them out.

And btw, it's not 3 secs away from the killer.
The survivor DS animation is 1 second and some change, so you have less than 2 seconds distance from the killer.
Remember the Enduring buff back in the day when affected DS and they reverted it back? Literally you can't go anywhere, you're getting tunneled for free.
DS was perfectly fine and no one had a problem with it.

Deathslinger Redeemer after DS, Trickster too.
But it always comes back to Nurse.

they just hating on you because they ain't you at this point <3 leave our nurses alone survivor mains!!!!! killer gets buffs = nerf nurse to compensate 👎️
1 -
The DH nerf is definitely going to hurt against Nurse. It's hard to be accurate and time up DH even for the best Nurse players. You're playing out of your mind if you bait and chain blink hit through DH multiple times in a match. The lack of movement of the survivor end will make it a lot easier to bait and swing through.

Nurse was still like a God, now she is absolutely UNBEATABLE, if u have the slightest clue how to play her.
4 -
At the moment, I believe it's stronger against Nurse (unless there is a tell, which we will see).
When I bait a DH, I land close and charge in order to land at the end of the DH and hit. I still have to do it during that small window before the cooldown. With the new DH, if the survivor times it correctly, he has a whole second during which a hit will boost him and no hit will let him get some distance.
I may be wrong of course.

Well to my knowledge ds was only buffed to 5 seconds because enduring used to work on it so if you had enduring you could hit a person as their feet hit the ground. But when they changed enduring to not work on any stuns other than pallet stuns.... they just didn't revert that change for some reason.

Wont do anything once you get hit you get less distance and the killers swing stun is reduced you will be hit again instantly.

Show me the math that verifies your claim.

We’ve reduced the time it takes to break walls and pallets by 10% (now 2.34 seconds, previously 2.6). Generators can also be kicked 10% faster than before (now 1.8 seconds, was 2 seconds). While these changes may seem small, a fraction of second can be the difference between hitting a Survivor and them reaching a pallet.
Next, we’ve reduced the cooldown for successful basic attacks by 10% (now 2.7 seconds, previously 3 seconds) and reduced the duration of the Survivor’s speed boost upon being hit by 10% (now 1.8 seconds, was 2 seconds). Moving forward, Survivors will gain slightly less distance upon being hit, making it more difficult for them to run long distances to a safe area.
Finally, we’ve tweaked Bloodlust to increase in power quicker than before. In most chases, Bloodlust does not activate, though there are rare cases where it can be necessary. The long build up often leaves the Killer in a bad spot even if they eventually get a hit. We are adjusting Bloodlust tiers to activate after 15/25/35 seconds of chasing rather than 15/30/45 seconds.
It says it right there less swing plus less distance = faster downs lol. Cant loop a gym if you cant get to one. They gave killers base kit stbfl and brutal strength.
0 -
There is plenty of time to reach another gym to loop. Now, hopefully, there will not be enough time for the survivor to reach the strongest gym/building of their choice across the map.
0 -
Its already pretty hard to reach another gym depending on the map with the killers speed. Going to be 20% worse now. Looping is dead gen rushing is the new meta.
0 -
Well, you're entitled to your take.
0 -
Same as you... I just see where devs are trying to push this back into a scary hide and seek game I don't think they like the cat and mouse aspect they want you to fear the killer not run at him and try to get him to chase you(which is the only fun part of this game).

No, I asked you to show me the math that verifies your claims, not copy+paste dev comments.
