P3 reward is extremely disappointing. Please consider changing it
An icon is not worth the effort, it's extremely disappointing and underwhelming.
Please considering adding onto the reward with a ton of bloodpoints and some shards.

Yeah, honestly I'd rather even get blood points or shards than that.
Not to mention how bad of idea it is showing that in the end game lobby in the first place. They're just going to confuse new players more. A bad change that will need to be reverted later.

Remember when they said they'd be rewarding players for getting their devotion levels up and they never did? Getting the same feeling here. I'm not asking for cosmetics (I main Laurie, after all, and she's probably never getting anything again because of her license but I pray otherwise) but bloodpoints and shards would be awesome and make grinding to P3 on multiple characters worthwhile, or at the very least not feel like a slap in the face.

I agree. Even something as small as 1000 shards or 50 auric cells per prestige. Just.. something.
Hell, even a charm! I don't care about a barely noticeable icon that someone will see AFTER the game.

do we know what the icon is for? like, an icon for the scoreboard or...? seems weird as a reward either way.

The reward is worthless in my opinion. It’s just disappointing! We loose a lot of addons, items and offerings and getting nothing back.
I have all characters P3 50 (only haddie and dredge just level 50). With the new prestige system bloodpoints not needed, only for new chapters.

I believe its something like the current p3 icons on the character portraits but ✨fancier✨ and they might show at the scoreboard since it now shows the character you played as, not completely sure.

If they did that then people like myself who kept all their characters at level 50 without prestiging would be rather upset. If they were to include players who will have a very high prestige level on every killer after the change, then okay.

Well, it's just to compensate the players who p3'd for losing progress by getting rid of items, offerings. addons etc. I just want my bloodpoints I spent p3ing back.

Prestiging was always rewarded with the bloody outfits, so players who didn‘t prestige decide to not get this. Now you get the bloody outfits automaticly without have lost anything, so you are fine.
other players who grinds for the p3 have invest a huge amount of time and bloodpoints and have lost hundreds of items and addons inclusive eventitems from the past…

Why couldn’t they give us a bloody portrait of a killer or survivor? Like come on the reward is garbage and I basically gave up on prestiging. Total waste

They were always very clear that there would be no extra rewards for prestiging, so many players did not.
Sorry, but going against that now would be unfair for the many players who took the devs at their word.

I get why they did it. They want to avoid another legacy situation. If you're not familiar, trust me there were many kinds of problems they ran into as a result of that decision.
I, as a potentially beneficiary of a new legacy situation, would prefer they Legacy 2.0'd with this update. But they won't and I get it.
Also asking for shards and auric cells is asking them to throw money away. That's a pipe dream unfortunately.

If they were very clear, many of us didn't see it, they should have tweeted about it and made sure people were aware of it.
All i saw was them confirming that the reward would not be cosmetics, charms or auric cells.

The point is in the past you had to prestige for the bloody outfits without knowing there will be a change. And now this playerbase, mostly longtime players, get a wet handshake…

Cheating to get legacy, the save file bug where huge amount of legit Legacy players lost their Legacy pieces and BHVR refused to give them back even with evidence.

Once they had decided what the "reward" was going to be, they should at least have strongly advised people that continuing to P3 would not be worthwhile.
I'm sure there are P3 Dredges and Haddies out there that will be particularly annoyed right now.

Dredge was my final p3. Finished a couple days ago all perks.
Isn't it like 15+ mil BP for each p3 lvl 50?
I have like 20 killers p350d.
9 survivors p350d and my Feng is all perks no prestige.
All that time and wasted addons for a icon?

Prestiging burns a lot more bloodpoints than keeping your characters at level 50, plus, you lose your event items and offerings in the process.
They said that once the new system was in place they would compensate the efforts of people who went through that process.
An icon is NOT compensation for that.
You, who didn't prestige, already get your compensation by receiving automatically the outfits reserved for people who prestiged AND having saved a lot of resources in the process. You are already getting compensated, don't use this as an argument on this topic.

Between this lack luster reward, and the grind seeming worse. I am disappointed. 9 prestige levels to unlock everything (bloody cosmetic, perks, charms) is a lot. That’s what, 450 levels per character? I have some killers and survivors P3-50 with every perk, some P3-50 with a few perks. Most are just left at 50. Hopefully this is just a misunderstanding.

Unless I've missed something, they did not say you would receive 'compensation' - they said you'd receive a distinct reward, which this icon is, even if it's something you're not a fan of.
Additionally, we don't know what the catch up mechanic is even going to get people to - if at max it takes the user to Prestige 3, they will not get the bloody cosmetics, since those cosmetics are now being moved to Prestige 4,5 and 6.

No, sorry, I'm not alone in saying that an icon in the endgame screen could not even barely be considered "celebrating and reward" my efforts.
A "special icon" is a slap in the face.
Additionally, we don't know what the catch up mechanic is even going to get people to - if at max it takes the user to Prestige 3, they will not get the bloody cosmetics, since those cosmetics are now being moved to Prestige 4,5 and 6.
Prestige will no longer be optional, it should be easy to calculate how many prestiges you should gain based on how many perks you have unlocked since every bloodweb has a fixated number of perks that show up.
They said they will adapt your prestige level based on the perks you have unlocked, I'm expecting them to put us at the right prestige level, and I'm not talking only about people who kept their characther at level 50 taking all the perks, but even people who brought their character to P3 and THEN took all the perks.

the only way i could be okay with the icon as a reward is if it is something REALLY special like an animated icon with lighting effects reminiscent of Legacy skins (to stay on topic) but i already know it will be a disappointing low effort icon. i really hoped they did exclusive skins instead of icons tbh.

you don’t “automatically” get the bloody outfits. You have to get the characters to prestige 6 now which is literally double the bloodpoints spent compared to prestige 3. Even though they did/do keep their items they’re still spending a lottt more bloodpoints

I knowned it wasn't be a cosmetic or charm, but I'm also disappointed.
Some sharps or bloodpoints could be cool.
I really appreciate a reconsidering.
