1) A dressing room for the cosmetic store
2) Sadako buff (lord help her)
3) Better tally screen visuals. I'd rather have the screen show the character portraits than the upcoming prestige levels

There's zero good reason why killers don't get the exact same hook-state interface as survivors. They're the ones who did the hooking in the first place. All the current version does it punish forgetful players for no reason.
7 -
- visual heartbeat for the hearing impaired like on mobile
- Personal stats page
- search bar for perks, search must function with keywords, such as exposed, etc
- Quick switch to killer button from survivor menu
8 -
Better map design
2 -
- Fov slider up to 100 degrees (Shadowborn obviously needs a rework after this)
- A way to auto spend BP if you just want teachables (or prestige with the new system)
- Windows of opportunity and Zanshin tactics become base game perks to help new players (Oni gets deerstalker and Kate gets Hope as teachables to replace them)
6 -
1) Biggest one is a search bar for perks now for me. I have discovered since I played DBD that I don't know the alphabet order at all. I've sung the 'ABC' song multiple times over the past 6 years.
2) Solo Queue buffs - They've mentioned they're in the early stages of doing some solo queue information back in January, so I know it's part of BHVR's intentions. Just some indicators of what survivors are doing, some indicator of, "I'm going for the save", etc. Just stuff to bring solo queue closer to the SWF experience.
3) This is like a 'dream' feature that I know is incredibly unlikely to happen and I'm not expecting BHVR to do it since there's far higher priority things, but a way for you to store a cosmetic per realm that automatically applies if you go there. I quite like themeing my survivors, and it'd be even nicer if I could theme them around the realm they're in. Wear some winter clothes for Ormond, wear some more urban clothes for RPD, etc.

Accessibility settings:
- Epilepsy/Migraine triggers adjustable (some environmental lights, audio trigger, clickyclicky flashlights, macros, Nightfall adjustments)
- Toggle option only for specific interactions adjustable
- Keybinding: multiple keys for the same action, also some actions split so for example different keys useable for repairing and healing)
- Hard of hearing/deaf (see Mobile: visible heartbeat and other audio cues made visible)
- Controller settings (console players but also on PC for accessibilty reasons, especially killer gameplay is significantly worse)
- Sensitivity, probably even separate for normal gameplay vs. charging/aiming as killer
- Response-curve
- Deadzones
- modes for certain phobias that alter specific sounds/cosmetics to make them neutral (Coulrophobia, Emetophobia etc)
- FoV slider (with approriate adjustments to M&A and Shadowborn)

Darkness Revealed shows the aura of the nearest locker while off cooldown

1. More accessibility options and for them to work with a group that specializes in accessibility in video games to make sure they don't miss anything in current game or future game content.
2. Solo q buffs like the survivor info icons they mentioned way back
3. Better end game screen. Instead of prestige levels show the character portrait. Maybe show what emblems everyone received, think that's more interesting than BP scores.
4. Personal stats page. Be nice to see what killers I go against the most often, how often I escape, etc.
5. Remove end game chat - it's unnecessary and just breeds toxicity. They keep implementing things to have players move onto the next match quicker, not having an end game chat will help move people along.
6. Have 3 dailies each for survivors and killers instead of the current random mixed selection. Also add weekly challenges that are random perk load outs with the only requirement being you use all 4 perks and don't DC. Something like "play 5 matches using premonition, hope, small game, and kindred."
2 -
1: Dailies - one for survivor and killer daily would be nice.
2: solo q buffs like - icons by survivor portraits to know what they’re doing(in chase, on a gen etc) a ping system.
3: Disincentives for camping/hard tunneling/slugging - example, if you camp and 1 hook a survivor… all points gained transfer to sacrificed to survivor. Slug x amount of secs a person gets unhooker their ds timer is paused.
4: accessing the store during lobby/queue times
1 -
- visual heartbeat like on mobile
- "switch to killer" button from survivor menu
- separated rituals for survivors and killers
- personal stats page
- search bar for perks
- hook states visible for killers
- survivor can see each others perks in lobby

please I need survivor and generator auras to be a different color

Some maps are terrible for Killer as well. I once tried playing Blight in an indoor map. Then I tried eating live bees. The bees were less painful.

FOV slider and a toggle for visual screen effects.

Off the top of my head
- A killer emote button. They could even have special emotes that can be linked to the button as Rift rewards in place of a few of the dozens and dozens of charms.
- A very small crosshair or aiming dot for Huntress, Trickster and maybe Plague. (Deathslinger’s rifle already acts as a crosshair obviously.) DbD is one of the only first person perspective action games I can think of which doesn’t have a crosshair for ranged attacks for some reason, and it’s just slightly annoying unless you play those characters a little regularly. (And no, I don’t want to install third party software or put tape on my TV just to mark the center of my screen.)
- A personal stats page that tracks your stats by character like kill rates and such. Also while I know the devs have shot down an actual replay system, it would still be nice to have a Match History tab where you can browse prior endgame scoring screens in case you’d like to collect your own data on your old matches.
- The devs mentioned in their big MMR change post a couple of months ago they are looking into updating MMR to go up pr down for survivors based on how many of the survivors escape as a group rather than individually (i.e. if 0-1 escape then all their MMRs will go down, if 3-4 escape they go up, and if 2 escape there’s no change). This would make it so if a survivor sacrifices themselves to help everybody else escape their MMR will actually go up rather than down. I’ve long said one of the fundamental flaws in DbD is treating survivors “semi-cooperatively” rather than as an actual team and if they can go through with this change it would be a nice step in the right direction in my opinion.
- Make it so survivors need to stay on a gen through a 2 second action to stabilize it and continue repairing it. Basically if a survivor holds the button on a gen for 2 seconds then the gen is instantly repaired for 2 seconds worth of time and goes into normal repair from there, but if the survivor doesn’t hold the button for 2 seconds then nothing happens and the gen continues to regress if it wasn’t already stable. This would get rid of that silly “instantly slap the gen to stabilize it midchase” thing. (It’s not even that doing that is “overpowered”, it’s just really, really dumb looking.)
- A Random Character Selection button on the character select screens (i.e. a portrait with a blank face and a ? or something like that.). Almost every fighting game and multiplayer hero shooter has this as a feature, I’m not sure why DbD doesn’t. Also along those lines it would be fun to have a Randomize Loadout button on the Loadout screen that puts in random perks and add-ons and offerings, etc. (There are some websites that generate sample random loadouts, but the disadvantage to those is they can give you settups that include things you might not have unlocked, so have this in DbD itself would be a cleaner way to do it.)
- A way for a killer to tell at a glance how many times they’ve hooked the survivor they’re chasing. This would be particularly handy when survivors are using identical skins to make it hard to tell them apart.
- Get rid of map offerings. They just exacerbate issues involving imbalanced or exploitable maps by allowing players to continuously force the game into them. Also along those lines have the random map selection intentionally not select any map that any of the five players in the map did in their prior match so people don’t randomly accidentally get the same map two or three times in a row.
- Rethink the “secret offerings”. Right now if survivors see a “secret killer offering” they know it’s a mori, so it being secret is totally pointless. And likewise if the killer sees a “secret survivor offering” they know the survivors are using the one that clumps them in the same spot at the start. What would be way more interesting would be if, instead of showing a face down offering, it instead showed the opponent a fake face-up bloodpoint offering or no offering at all to actually disguise the fact a “secret offering” is in play. Also they should think about a couple of different types of secret offerings for the game so there’s not just the moris and survivor groupings ones.
- Revamp Luck into something else. At the moment I’m pretty sure Luck is generally considered kind of a useless stat and the Luck related buffs are therefore too weak. Maybe have Luck be a small percentage chance of attacks being blocked ala an Endurance effect, for example, and/or have Luck increase the chances of getting high value items out of chests, or maybe have it be a small percentage chance of Great skill checks having larger than normal sizes. Basically have Luck give an interesting boost or two of some sort other than just pulling yourself off a hook.
- Replace the single “loud noise explosion” with some different sounds indicating what the noise actually is. So Spies from the Shadows for instance could make crow calls instead of the explosion sound. Or Trapper’s Traps could sound like Traps snapping shut, and Hag’s Traps could sound like the mud slurry, etc. Basically if the killer could distinguish what loud noises are from the actual sounds they make it would be both useful mechanically and more thematic.
- Have gates slowly regress after a few seconds of inactivity. That would discourage the 99% gate thing which is kind of silly. It should be a slow regression and only kick in after a few seconds of not holding the lever to help the last survivor still be able to open the gate to get out, but enough of a regression so that if a Gate is set to 99% and then abandoned for a while the gate will lose enough progress that it makes the survivor consider just opening it instead rather than walking off for a long time.
- Have the daily ritual journal have two separate tracks, one for survivor rituals and the other for killer rituals.
- Have a small ritual and mission tracker in the actual match in the upper right corner near where scoring events appear. So if you have a daily ritual to, for example, “Hit 4 survivors with Demogorgon’s Shred” then there is a line that says something like “1/4 Shred attacks hit”. Or if you have a Rift challenge to “break 25 generators” then there’s a line like “7/25 generators broken”, etc.
- Have a timer in the background where if no player scores any bloodpoints for, say, 5-8 minutes then the game just ends immediately in a draw. This would be a failsafe against the occasional issues of stalemates where the killer can’t find two survivors who are just crouching around hiding and not touching gens or where a killer has bodyblocked the last survivor and isn’t allowing the game to get to endgame collapse, etc. Basically it should be something where if it’s OBVIOUS the game is at a total standstill for both sides and reasonable players would want it to end then the game simply ends.
- The devs are adding custom matches with bots later this year. If that works well then I’d love to see bots take the place of disconnected players in normal matches. Obviously bots probably aren’t as good as good human players but they’re still (hopefully) better than no player at all, at least in that they can do generators and rescue and heal survivors and such. (Sure, there’s corner cases where a bot “feeds” a killer but if the bots are passable then on average those scenarios are outweighed by the rest of the times when the bots help advance gen progress or distract the killer away from the humans who are doing the gens or the bots heal the humans, etc).

- Fix the zombies
- Add-on pass for Nem + Pyramid
- Clear indication of Michael tombstone along with the inability to 99% with tombstone
- Flash bang bug fixes
- Allow players to assign specified actions to a dedicated button (Let me pick someone up without fear of vaulting the window)
- Give survivors more emotes (There's an item here, no one is coming to save me, etc)
- Personal fog and darkness settings for those of us who want an immersed experience
- Let characters speak
- Get the real voices for licensed characters
- Chase music for all licensed characters
1 -
Quieter chase music, louder survivor breathing, louder footsteps, and louder grunts of pain, so it's easier for killers to hear important sounds.
2 -
The ability for survivors to see their teammate's perks in the lobby.
2 -
Control the camera and place it anywhere while spectating custom matches.

random spectating mode for random matches

I just want an easier way to change resolution and frame rate without editing settings files or changing properties settings. Constantly having to change my resolution and windows scaling just for this game gets annoying.

. Old atmosphere.
. Buffs for Billy, Freddy and Deathslinger.
. Basekit Kindred for solo survivors.
. More perk changes.

One thing I'd really like is an ability to sort survivors / killers by name or level when choosing them. I pretty much have my mains chosen, and my sense of neatness is offended when the menu goes 50 / 1 / 1 / 1 / 50. :-)

I felt so happy to get a row of 50’s

Better character customization. I want more options and more individual cosmetics that aren’t linked to others.
One of my favorite parts of any game is to play dress up with my character and give them a touch of “me” in their wardrobe, so I’d like new cosmetic slots that will let me pick out shoes, gloves, shirts, jackets, hats, hair, make up, glasses, pants, scarves/cloaks, and whatnot. I’d like them to overhaul all cosmetics so we can better mix and match.
More maps with interactive elements. I want to be able to sit at a desk in a classroom on Midwich, lay down on a bed on the Doctors map (it’s on the top of my tongue but I can’t remember it’s name), ride Maurice and more things other than just run around.

An Unranked mode... for newer players and players whom want to try something different
A different variation of prestige (I can't explain it all in text but something like COD)
For Survivors to see each others perks... by highlighting them brings up perks, items and addons
A better color palate (for auras) without using colorblind options
Further perk changes... they aren't done yet
Allow a dead Survivor to spectate in a free camera mode... if they so desire
Better Map design... would be best to hand design them and apply further changes to the algorithm
I think that about covers it all

I'd love it if you could see what perks the other survivors are running before the game starts. For example it would be useful to know if someone has unbreakable so you can make the call to not go for them, lest you lead the killer to the location they crawled to.
Personally I think there should be more info available pre- or mid-match about how a killer's power works. As a new player I often lose simply because a newer killer is really complex and I don't know hardly anything about just their base kit.
Deathslinger is in need of a minor buff or major rework imo. I don't have anything else to say on that in this post.
The ability to pick a killer you would prefer to match with when queuing up. Nothing that would keep you waiting forever to get into a game with a killer no one plays but something that lets you at least get a higher chance of being queued with said killer if a killer of similar skill based matchmaking score exists in the queue at the time. Might be too hard to do and I suppose could be abused to have friends get in a match together as both sides to farm. Or be used to target and bully weaker killers. Might not be a good idea but I'd sure like it since there's plenty of killers I've just never faced and probably never will.
Another way to earn Iri shards please? Maybe in future tomes some challenges can give you like 100. Or put a few in the free section of rifts. Stuff like that.
Steam Deck support.
Optional wide stylized crosshair for Huntress, Trickster and Deathslinger. People can just overlay ones anyway so might as well. Just have it disabled by default. Possibly a flashlight crosshair as well.
Killer add-ons should not be consumed if no survivor escaped.
New gamemodes PLEASE. Just like 2 other ones. I dunno exactly what they would be but come on...
Most of these probably don't count as "Quality of Life", they're just things I want. Sorry for straying a bit from the premise there.

I honestly just want a bit of consideration for older or old fashioned players.
Now, I know, I know... This is a "me" thing, and not something with the game itself, because I have an undying passion for old DBD.
But...
A little bit of consideration for those who prefer the old ways could be nice.
A little bit would be FAR better than nothing.
