Boon snuff animations look low budget
Come on BHVR, can't you do better? The snuffing animations look embarrassingly stale right now. There's no sound effects within the animations and some animations don't even connect with the totem.

There just the hatch closing animations I believe

they are, and it makes it even lazier

They'd be a lot better if the boon shattered at the tail end of the animation with a satisfying crunch.
It's not the animation itself, it's the lack of reaction or overlapping action.
When the hatch is closed by these very same animations, the snapping of the hatch door and the bombastic sound punctuation signalling the end game collapse makes it satisfying.
The fact that the killer performs that animation as the boon remains through the animation, only to return control to witness a pathetic 'puff' is - well it's egregious.
Lazy to the bone is one thing - ineffectually lazy is another.
