I mean you got the flans that's cool but always prioritise good perks if you see one in the bloodweb.

What are the chances of that happening? Pretty good if you prioritize offerings and add-ons over perks

This happens due to bad planning. The Entity prioritizes perks in the blood web, so it's best to unlock at least one perk before the Entity enters the blood web and begins to take things.

yes thats why i thought the entity would consume the mori or any other offering/add on but it just went straight for the perks

The entity can be very random. The entity will take something from the bloodweb after:

    • You take a perk
    • You take 5 items, add-ons or offerings

So the best way to avoid the entity stealing your perks, but get the best value is.

    1. Grab 2 nodes towards the perk you want (you should have the option to grab the perk now). Decide which perk you go for by the stuff around it since some paths may lead to better add-ons or offerings.
    2. Grab one node towards the other two perks you may want. You basically want to be equal distance away from each perk.
    3. Grab the perk from step 1
    4. After the entity grabs what it wants then decide where you go next.

This should help you get the perks you want while also getting the add-ons you want.

The Entity will always spawn on the perk - always has, which is why it's important to get the perks straight away.

A quick tip with flans. The Entity will always spawn on a perk, so if you have a flan that's on the edges of the bloodweb and you're worried it'll get eaten, you should buy the two nodes that lead up to that flan, then turn around and buy your way to a perk. The flan won't be the one selected by the Entity (unless it's a low level bloodweb and there's no other perks) and you can buy it next.

    But yeah, F, that's unlucky.

Yep - if you do it correctly, you’ll get 2 perks for every web. You will probably get screwed on the add-ons you want though.

It has something to do with luck. The initial loss of perks was bad planning, but trying to tunnel to each perk only to have the entity always pop up on the node you were heading towards at that moment is bad luck.
