Be my friend because of matchmaking
This matchmaking is something else. In solo que, it's either me and a group full of beamer saving legends against a baby killer or me and a bunch of baby survivors against a fully stacked, dominating killer. There's rarely games that are even...at least in my experience. It's getting aggravating. I'm either dying on first hook or apologizing to a killer that DC'd. Who wants to SWF? I need some good survivors that know how to play and like to have fun. I don't need to escape every round. I just need friends that know what they're doing. CreeFPV #1b45

Nvmd. I just looked at all the upcoming changes to the game and deleted it. They're destroying a lot of perks unnecessarily because they don't know how to fix matchmaking. They're just basically revamping the game...again. I have no friends on this game because they stopped playing a long time ago for the same thing. Don't add me. I'm out.
To BHVR, I've been playing since 2017 and even switched from Xbox to PC. Can I get a refund for the money I've put in on PC? It's less so you don't lose much. I just feel like I've defended the game for so long just to be let down.

Okay, a few things.
- Matchmaking isn't perfect, but it's way better than what we had under RBMM.
- No, you don't get refunds before you aren't having fun anymore.
- We'll see you in a few weeks when you return.

That was quick. I wouldn't judge the upcoming changes too quickly because they haven't even been released to live version yet. They'll probably be adjusted if they're too egregious from the PTB. Also, there's a lot of new perk combinations that could bring more fun in gameplay and just be goofy things to do.
Also, this is the completely wrong place to ask for a refund. If you have a considerable amount of hours in the game, you aren't going to get refunded because of an update that you don't like. If you want to make new friends and have people maybe spice up the game for you, check out the discord. That's a better place to find someone to play with anyway/

They must have reworked Boil Over again because it's virtually unusable unless you fall in specific spots. The gauge barely fills and most Killers know to walk down stairs so yeah... and Tenacity is another one that hasn't been working the way it used to.

Tenacity...I have no idea - but Boil Over was a plague post buff.

Yeah I mean I understand that BO was pretty OP but now it's basically just wiggle progression. Most Killers don't seem to struggle or feel any pressure from it.

It's one of those perks that needs a total redesign. The second it becomes useful, it gives players the keys to the trollmobile.
I still see it rather a lot, and I think out of the last...maybe dozen times I've faced it, it's caused me to lose a survivor once. And that was RPD, which is the only map where this perk is still very very annoying due to how spaced out the hooks are.

See I completely get that it gets abused by trolls, especially in the RPD... as a Survivor I run Tenacity, Boil Over, Soul Guard (or Power Struggle it depends), and Flip-Flop. I play a lot of SoloQ Survivor and it's more to avoid being left to die on 1st hook.

Yeah, I haven't seen many boil over plays that were actually successful since the second rework (after the first disaster of it). There has been a couple occasions that a sabo squad might try to sabo for the boil over, which I just drop and they usually get punished. The only time I struggle with boil over is if its an indoor map and I get stuck in a door way.

I like to use Boil Over because the struggling is quite fun and you can make the killer bump into all kind of things. If anyone comes for the rescue you have quite the chance to actually wriggle out on a longer track to the hook.

When I play Killer, I always try to go to the RPD. Even as a Survivor I just like this map (not because of the Library) but because it's a nice change of environment. I tend to get 4k's with Doctor and it's all thanks to his Special. My build is: Corrupt Intervention, Dead Man's Switch, Lightborn, and Ruin. That build makes locating Survivors very easy and gens are near undoable. By the time one gen pops, I've dealt with at least one Survivor
