NEW DEAD HARD IS A NERF FOR NURSE
think about it. you may not get the dash to dodge the hit. but you'll get the endurance status effect for a second and if she hits you, she'll go through her fatigue AND you gain enormous distance from her.

I believe indeed the new DH may be stronger against Nurse.
I'll be sure to test it thoroughly tomorrow along with checking how well tunneling is discouraged.

Then she blinks again after the fatigue and folds you like clean laundry. This won't do anything special.

New Dead Hard will be better against Killers that have a strong antiloop Power that is on a timer, like Nurse or Blight, both go into a Fatigue if their Power is held too long

It's also sadly better against a Killer with a bad antiloop like Pig. :(

It’s not actually better than the current version. For instance, Endurance doesn’t prevent window grabs, so where currently you can lunge for distance to be completely out of range of a grab at a window now you can protect yourself from a hit but not a grab if the killer attacks while you vault.

I'm talking specifically about her ambush attack on a loop. Vault grabs have nothing to do with that.

As again surv mains that relies on perks to carry their game cuz they have no skill without perks. And yes she will jump on you even if you dead hard, more than before.
I'm waiting the day till I will see survivors not relying on perks to carry their game, and just show some skill. And yes there are survivors that play perkless or with meme perks and play 10 times better than meta survivors, but rare.

Yeah killers are playing with chill, meme perks and ofcourse without add-ons. Only survivors are meta slave. Killers are so skilled but survivors can play game only with perks, they are unskilled players. Cool story bro, write more please. I am fan.

Tunneling will be discouraged once BHVR gives an actual incentive to go for multiple people. There's zero reason to go for multiple hooks as it does nothing but waste time. Only reason you would ever do is it if you can tell the survivors are clearly bad and you can get away with it.

With the many new protections, it may prove counter-productive to tunnel. More difficult too. That's what needs to be checked tomorrow among many other changes ... way too many.

I see. Yeah I could see the new version being slightly better at dodging a Pig Ambush, maybe? There’s a little extra window you could activate it right after you hear the roar and still be protected when she hits you. The current version can dodge it though, it’s just a little harder to time.

I would honestly be glad if the DH change didn't help the Nurse as much as the other killers.
However, if (one of?) the best Huntress out there is to be believed, the new DH will be difficult to use by any but the best survivors, and they aren't the ones struggling the most against the random good Nurse. (We'll be able to test this hypothesis pretty soon)

Same here with nurses not relying on starstruck/agi combo or stacked slowdowns + their broken ass add-ons for their easy wins. I'd really like to see actual good nurse player, alas those players are actually rare

You guys realize a perk that makes nurse weaker is going to make everyone weaker don't you? It'll be even worse for other killers. A good nurse will just hold their attack when they see the animation. It'll just be a mild inconvenience. Even if they trigger endurance they will just immediately be back on you with range addons. What is an M1 killer going to do? This new dead hard might actually be worse for every killer due to all the distance people will gain from endurance. Hold W meta will be worse than ever.

By avoiding the line of sight, flash lighting her when she tries to blink to burn her and not using vaults and pallets? Easy.
And this was a confident nurse who took this non SWF group to coldwind, used the good perks on her and the best blink range and was on 3 hooks on first gen.

I've gone against a few survivors or a wide range of hours (up to 4.5k) and so far it doesn't seem so much better against the Nurse.
Maybe with more practice and self-control (it's easy to panic now that it's new)
