Any tips for Billy?

I realized that A) I keep getting rift skins for him, but B) I never play him. Then I remembered that I never get more than a couple of chainsaw hits per game if I'm lucky.

Any tips? I could just use the saw for mobility, but I'd rather not.

    Billy is pretty hard but for practice I'd do the same when practicing any killer with a lethal m2, just use that over and over. Chainsaw every time, even in positions where it seems impossible. Even if the survivor is already injured. And don't expect to win. Did that with huntress, artist and blight when I was learning them, improved a lot quicker than if I'd bothered with m1s. Or there's always the option of waiting til the bots are out, although they'll never dodge chainsaws like real survivors can
