About the BP incentive to play some role.
I hope there is a flat fee along with the percentage bonus.
Getting low BP score because of being grouped with head-less chickens makes a percentage bonus very unappealing.

They could offer me Auric Cells and I still wouldn't touch Solo Q.

If your general experience is similar to the one I got this afternoon, I completely agree.
1 -
From what I have seen so far it is a percentage.
So enjoy your 6k BPs after you got camped in SoloQ while your whole team sits around the hook waiting for the Killer to leave. And you will totally want to play another game and not jump back to Killer or close DBD.

Am I really the only person on this planet who likes playing solo queue?
1 -
Yes
15 -
I'm literally about to make a post with two clips from today.
1 -
It's all I play so it's gotta be doing something right if I haven't sworn it off forever
2 -
That's the spirit!
1 -
Maybe I'll release all the screenshots I made during the event. To show that solo queue isn't as bad as everyone claims.
3 -
It's usually fine, but sometimes ... gods ...

Tell when it happens. I'm kind of curious to see how bad it can be. After all ...
Solamen miseris socios habuisse doloris

Yes, without a doubt. Sometimes the teammates are beyond bad.
But that just makes the moments when a team of randoms totally kicks it off even more epic.
2 -
######### my Latin is out of practice but I'll give it a shot. Misery loves company?
Also, the post is up.

It better be +100% BP and instant queue times
1 -
100% yes instant queue cant make miracles
1 -
Well if the incentive will be for the role that needs players, its safe to assume it will have much faster queue than the other role which has plenty players.
Even if you dont care about BP, you can use this new feature to just see which role has faster queues at the time
1 -
True :)
Indeed, and thanks.

I don't know but killer queue is always insanely long for me, +50-100% bonus points for playing solo survivor could help a lot
0 -
It's ok I don't like playing with microphones so I've been a solo queue only since day 1 of playing
1 -
My solo queues are better than my swf.
This was a solo queue game
3 -
That's how I play survivor most the time and I still have fun ^^ (kindred is my crutch tho).

So you'd avoid get free cosmetics and characters because you want to play with your friends only?
I basically only play solo Q I'd love to be paid for it because FASHION ISN'T CHEAP. GIMMIE THOSE CELLS !!!!
1 -
I'd avoid it because there is no amount of compensation BHVR could give me to go through the absolute torture of playing Solo Survivor

I enjoy it. I'm content with my current survival rate (probably average 1 escape out of every 4 games, but I'm overly altruistic), as well as the matchmaking in general (there's always exceptions). I don't hesitate to point out its disadvantages though, as I think that feedback is important in ensuring the solo q experience continues to evolve. It's why I'm disappointed in the upcoming changes. Because I enjoy solo and I don't want to start hating it. Happy to be proven wrong though.

I enjoy solo queue as well. I do play more with some form of a SWF, but I never have a problem with solo games -- some go great, some not so much, but there's more good than bad.
Had one of those moments just a day or two ago -- managed to coordinate a rescue with two other randoms, not on comms with them, to save a hooked survivor being camped by a Huntress during Endgame. Very satisfying and well-played by everyone, including the killer, and a fun match all around. This is more common for me, at least, than not.
2 -
If you get better solo games then it likely means your friends are putting you in a higher MMR bracket than you can handle.
0 -
If you can actually see player count gap in those two roles, I'm fine tbh.
0 -
Then why do I regularly get the high score in my swf games?
The thing is, people play swf for fun don't necessarily make good plays. At best they're overly altruistic, at worst they take huge risks under the assumption that they're better because they occasionally call out the killers location.
Meanwhile when it comes to solo games, good players more or less play the same way. If for example you have someone on the hook and two others injured, the healthy survivor will drop their gen and go for the rescue.
The survivor with we'll make it teabags the unhooked survivor who's healing themselves to get them to stop, and they do.
They point or beckon and the other survivors get it and head towards the exit they pointed at or follow them to a gen with prove thyself.
If you know how to play survivor well, then you know how to play survivor without voice comms.
You're implying I'm boosted. I say all those survivors who have mastered the 360 spin and flashlight mob attacks, but can't coordinate for ######### without a voice telling them where the killer is every second, are boosted.

no
1 -
ah, a fellow kindred enjoyer

That really is satisfying! Pulling something off, without coms and see how everyone works as a team.
2 -
That's how the game should be played. The survivors aren't supposed to be a SWAT team using radio communication. ^_^
2 -
Then just play the role you want if the bonus is not worth it for you.
There will be others who switch because of it.

Yep. Pretty much!

After upcoming update, i will not touch solo-q as well. They don't know what are they doing with their game.
