In 20 seconds there is always a gen done.

I played killer and then in 20 seconds or so it the gen done already along with 1 or 2 gens.

I looked at other people's perks and add-ons and it looks like they bring purple toolboxes with the charge and speed add-ons with prove thyself.

Please nerf toolboxes and prove thyself, it's giving me hebbie jebbies.

I'm trying to grind in the game but some of those add-ons I don't understand but I need to look into them

If some focus at the start with items the first gens can be done incredibly fast.

That is bad luck. If they are not so good they sometimes screw up at the last gens.

We have to see if the coming changes do anything.

Just a reminder that as of the coming midchapter the gens will take 10 seconds longer solo. You can still theoretically lose the first gen very quickly if the survivors are grouped on it and have tools but overall the 10 second buffer should help in a lot of close calls you currently get.

And of course the first generator is the least important, it’s the last couple of generators you have the best shot at defending and where a lot of the matches focus. You can easily lose one or two or even three gens early on and still get a 3-4 k if you keep pressure up.

That is definitely the better tactic. If you make it that far.

That is the correct way to use them but also don't tell people that

Brand New Parts. A co-ordinated SWF with toolboxes will drill through gens super fast, but once they are used up they can't do it again, plus your strongest time during a match is when a gen or 2 have been done, and you are able to apply pressure in a smaller area because of it. Lethal Pursuer (Nemesis perk) can help you to immediately know where survivors are at the start of the match, which can reduce the effectiveness of BNP (by chasing them away from the gen they used it on, especially if you also have Hex: Ruin (Hag perk) or similar, which causes gens to auto-regress. It also requires 2 skill checks for the whole bonus to repair, if you have a high mobility killer or a small map (ideally both!) you can interrupt them during this and prevent the full bonus. Also there's Corrupt Intervention (Artist perk) which blocks the 3 gens furthest from you at the start of the match, which should help.
