Is anyone else experiencing really horrible hits?

This applies to both sides, hit validation seems to be really awful, and rewarding laggy players more than any system we've had in past that wasnt p2p. I'm tired of it. Being hit from so far away, Killers getting stunned but appearing on your side of the pallet, and being hit by pallets as killer without being near it.


This applies to both sides, and it feels like we are pvping old versions of each other, and quite frankly it feels awful. How about we stop rewarding high ms? But I feel like I'm going crazy because I never see it discussed, ever.

    same here!

    after a pallet stun I switched sides with the killer, crazy hits and yesterday i saw my alltime favorite again: get hit over a dropped pallet…

    Yup, it's been extremely funky.

    Not 4.5 funky, but funky nonetheless.

    I've been getting a lot of reverse pallet stuns by just using pallets normally. It use to be difficult to get reverse pallet stuns but at least 3 out of 5 pallet stuns I get, the killer teleports to my side. And yes, I've been getting hit from 5+ meters away. On the other side of the coin spins have been way more successful at close range and it seems like FOV techs work way better taking the killer several seconds to realize what's happened, almost like my game is a few seconds ahead of theirs.

    It is pretty bad, but then again, the game, in general, is unfair with hits due to 'favor the killer' being a thing. The killer's client handles hits other than DH/Pallet validation, so it is never fair. Especially since Survivors don't know The Killer's ping and must account for that and their ping to the server. Server issues amplify this discrepancy.

    If anyone is interested in submitting evidence in a bug report thread about these hits, please send them in a reply to this thread. It would help a lot!


    Maybe we can finally fix this problem once and for all if we co-operate with the devs.

    Yup. Bad ping has always been a weapon in DbD but it's particularly notable lately.

    Yep, and I'll admit it. I've been getting some bogus hits on killer recently and it's almost made me wanna puke due to how nasty the lag hits have been. Just the other day, I downed a Kate by seemingly reaching over an already downed pallet and smacking her. We both just looked at each other with the "Yeah that was kinda bullshit wasn't it" expression. Don't even get me started on all the times I end up getting a hit + stunned + placed on the other side of the pallet with the survivor. Been a minute since I've seen that one, but honestly not the only old "fixed" bug I've experienced in the past few months.

    yes I just recently DC due to a spirit hitting me over a pallet even though I dropped it like two seconds ago... i was going to blame/ say hacker but my frames dropped as I got hit...

    On ps4 BTW.

    No, because that's a survivor sided issue.

    On the Killers Screen he hit you!


    Yea and on mine he hit me from the other side of the pallet and about 10 yards away, but hey f* me for not being poor and having garbage internet.
