Should be less than that, it was barely a year when they gave away all the summer bbq stuff to cry babies.
Just wanted to get an early jump on it.
BHVR I feel bad seeing other people with the mask I am missing it hurts my feelings, give it to me!

I farmed a glitched and buggy event to get Summer BBQ cosmetics, then bhvr just turned around a few months later and gave them away.
So I just want the same treatment fair is fair.

You'll get the same treatment when you can forcibly remove the Haddie mask from other people's accounts such that BHVR won't be able to tell which players lost the mask.

I also farmed a glitched and buggy event, also farmed through Howling Grounds with the dreadful 1.9.2 patch, only to lose the comsetics and have BHVR support not return them to me. And I promise you, that felt worse than them being given away to all accounts.

This. There were 2 reasons that BHVR gave that set of cosmetics away to everyone.
1. The reason which you've mentioned, people lost their event earned cosmetics and BHVR couldn't give them back to everyone even after multiple attempts of trying, so it was easier to just give them away to everyone.. including people that didn't earn them
2. Some cosmetics were exclusive to conventions and stuff, so people were selling them for hundreds of dollars on eBay. BHVR claimed that they didn't want people to get scammed, but they probably just didn't want others profiting off of them so they made them free to everyone
There's literally no reason for BHVR to give new event cosmetics away for free eventually because these issues no longer exist. At best you'll see them available in the store for shards or maybe they'll show up in another event, but I have my doubts
