The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

I don’t understand the issue with the new grind???
It’s so much better and will be less of a headache when the update goes live. I’d rather have this than the removal of perk tiers.

Agreed.
I'm levelling Deathslinger right now as we speak to test a few things, and the fact that I can get tier 3 perks in a level 1 bloodweb post-prestige makes getting the perks I want soooo much easier, and way cheaper. It's going to be incredible once it hits live.
Not a fan of paying 50k to prestige, but that's a minor quibble.

As someone with almost all my killers p3ed, I dont think I have the desire to like p7,p8,p9 any survs or killers just to get bloody clothes anymore tbh

It's still gonna be awfully grindy for new players. For someone like me with almost everyone p3 50? Fine. New players? Still awful

Hey, this forum isn't for anything but complaining.

P7, P8 and P9 are for the teachable perks as a charm.
P4,P5 and P6 are for the bloody cosmetics

But somebody would still only need to prestige a new killer once (instead of lvl 40) to get his yellow perks showing up in my main killers bloodweb, right?
I mean yellow are instant available, green and purple have to be unlocked via bloodweb

thanks for clarification.

No problem

It's good for people like me who play everyone however it doesnt help those that main 1 survivor/killer (although I still feel this is a poor excuse as they will have plenty of BP if they maining 1 character)
My biggest issue is the item/addon grind has been made worse with the WGLF/BBQ nerf. bloodwebs are still full of useless fillers and now I get less BP to spend to get items I actually want across all characters

Facts the grind is basically fixed. Not even have I been playing for a year and I got so many characters to p3. Yes new players will have to grind but They’ll be fine

What do you mean? Remiving perk tiers would have been a lot bigger reduction to the grinding. This new system also misses the mark in regards to helping new players out.

This. It's honestly a case of 'rich get richer, poor get poorer' and of course this forums usual amount of apathy towards problems that don't effect them. In theory the good parts nobody else have a problem but they've added a fair amount of bad needlessly.
Like prestige tax? Taking away BBQ and WGLF? Sure I agree with perks not being attached to BP but they could have at least increased BP gain especially for newer players. What do they gain? Free perks for survivors they may never use. For killers sure it's a little better but the gains only come at the end of the grind not the beginning where it's needed.
On a personal level the changes effect me very little but it just doesn't seem right. Especially when it's being constantly sold as being a good thing for everyone when it obviously isn't.

I already had most of the perks, so all this does is make it way harder for me to get good items in the bloodweb between the forced low levels and the removal of BBQ/WGLF.
Also, the prestige tax is such a bizarre addition on a patch that is purportedly meant to reduce the grind that I can't respect it.

The grind reduction is good. Not a fan of the 50k BP for prestiging, but eh.
What my problems are:
After prestiging the Bloodwebs are super bad. It will take some time until you get good Bloodwebs again. With a Level 50 Bloodweb you get at least some value for the 60k BP it takes to buy it. 60k BP will bring you to Level 8 or something like that with fresh Bloodwebs, and you will not get anything.
And, I dislike how the Prestige Level was calculated. I am fine with Perk Tiers counting for that, but why ONLY Perk Tiers? Why not Items, Add Ons and Offerings as well? Like, my Yoichi will have the same Level like my Nea. And I main Nea and have hundreds of Items and Offerings (almost 900 Map-Offerings alone, which cost me 4,5 Million BP) on her, while Yoichi has the stuff I got when getting all Perks on him.

Grinding for perks has gotten better to a degree. Grinding for anything else on the bloodweb, however, has gotten worse. They traded one evil for another.

Bad for new players who struggle to get many teachable perks as possible.
Even if prestige doesn't reset anything, you have to spend nearly 450 thousand BP for 3 tier 3 perks.
Also don't forget you have to spend nearly 900 thousand BP for bloody cosmetics in P6.
New system can be good for old gamers and for the future but this looks like FU to beginners.
I think people should still be able to get tier 2,3 perks in bloodweb.

The grind may still there, but 1 thing you all may forget: You still have all item/addon
There is nothing wasted more than you spend 1.5 mil and delete everything with a Prestige.
And you do that 3 times for 60 characters. That's around 270 mil BP not being used.

They can get tier 2 and 3 in the bloodweb once tier 1 is unlocked either through prestiging or the shrine.

I do agree that the idea of keeping add-ons, items, perks, and offerings after prestiging is nicely done and shall be properly implemented. Once it hits live, this is where the prestige update shines and probably even blinds most of the community with how good it is.
However, the reality is somewhat harsh, just like always - The grind, in total, isn't reduced, but increased!
Once BBQ and WGLF stop giving us bonus bloodpoints, we'll be sitting in-between 8 - 20k bloodpoints per a match as survivors and in-between 12 - 33k bloodpoints as killers.
So, for those who were and have prestiged the characters - Good news. For the rest of the community, it's like a middle finger.
Each bloodweb at levels 40+ costs you around 90k or more, if you cherrypick your desired rare stuff, resulting in around ~8 required matches to get it. Back then (right now, when the update isn't live, yet), this was requiring less than three matches, if you've had four Tokens for BBQ or WGLF! Now, compare the required time to get it, and see the result.
The required amount of bloodpoints is heavily decreased; I do strongly agree with that.
At the same time, however, the amount of earned bloodpoints is even more heavily decreased, and that's the consequence.
New players are gonna be screwed over just because they're new, and only the veterans with P3 characters are gonna benefit from this update. The rest is doomed, period.
Overall, this change brings more negatives than positives. Say goodbye to getting over 300k per a match during the Events while Bloodhunts are active. This will no longer be a thing.
