I just wish they would give us the option to choose from the music they have made. This game needs a bit more customization like that. Same with picking lobby backgrounds.

For a good while the old theme was actually what the person playing Oni heard while in chase.
He wasnt the only one with a unique POV theme, Myers, Doctor and Demo also had a theme of their own.
Then The Twins came, and its been bugged ever since

Yeah, his old POV chase theme fits the flow of the match from the killer's point of view. Very frantic, aggressive and fast. Current chase theme should be survivor exclusive as it embodies the feel of being chased by a brute at mach 5, helplessly trying to run away as he is about to bonk you.

Yeah I never understood why they removed this, Doc use to have his own POV chase music as well that also got removed and was never in the patch notes. My guess is they decided they didn't want to make two tracks one for killer and one for survivor they just wanted to make one but who knows I don't believe they ever commented on this.

I never knew there was an earlier version of the theme, it sounds way better than what we have now.

Exactly what I came here to say. There's nothing wrong with Oni's current TR and chase, but damn, the first version blows it right out of the water for character atmosphere and jamming potential.

Not one soul prefers the current one over the old one. It's not that the current is bad, the old was just SOOOOO much better.

Should keep the live version as the music survivors hear while the ptb version is what the killer hears.
