Why is sadako so weak but so Fun to Play
She is cleary 1 of the most Fun Killer in the Game ( After Dredge ) to play even as a weak Killer who only has a teleport as her Power and nothing för a chase or Loop
Maybe its her soundeffect and animations that makes her so Fun
Plz BHVR Buff her in the Next Chapter Update she really needs a anti Loop she is so fun but so weak
If i wouldnt have Dredge i Think she would have a good Chance to be my Main because she is so fun :)

She is just a blast to play as, she needs to be buffed to make her effective at higher levels.
For me it's the stealth hit and run/misdirection, and clearly knowing when you've just made a surv player soil their drawers.

Yeah, her visual/audio design as both killer and from the surv perspective is probably the best in the game. It's too bad she is becoming so infrequently played.

Can't agree with you, she is much more fun to play than Dredgie. Can't explain why too, but she had immediately stuck in my main roster. And she definetely need buffs.
And seeing how many people talk for her warms my heart.
Looks like devs hit the spot, but it's like "3 minutes intercourse", not enough. Need to try harder.

It probably her animations. Her and Pinhead have some of the best in the game.
Also, Her Scourage Hook + Make your choice is actually really fun on her, I had a blast using them.

I will actually disagree, I personally preffer fast pased gameplay and reacting to my opponents hence why I absolutely despise sadako, additionally her tps are clunky af and alert half the map where you are, and the only people who the stealth works on is people with no audio or players with under 20 hours.
I won't actually go into condemn since tbf you have to be as aware as a sponge to get condemned and dense as lead to let her kill you with it on top of it.
With that being said i am against buffing her as roasting her and making fun of how weak she is is very fun imo and when I play survivor its good to just have a power trip when you verse her, so I think she is a fine addition to the game, and she has 2 good perks too.

She's great visually and sounds wise / animations but she's just another m1 killer with a worst stealth than Wraith, she needs anti loop to be viable.

I also really like Sadako for some reason. My guess is that she is really easy to play, in a way that you don't need to much concentration to learn her, while also having some room for doing some really fun plays. Wraith plays like Sadako in a way that they are both very simple, but while Sadako can do some really satisfying plays by teleporting and surprising survivors, Wraith doesn't do that. Also, even though she almost never gets her condemned kill, it is something to look forward to and get excited when it happens since it is so rare.

When demanifest she should can walk through pallet and wall.

She is in my top 3 with Nemmy and Nurse.
She is adorable. She has fun power, good design, good animations etc. But she needs some buffs. Some QoL changes and number changes maybe. Dredge is kinda outplayed her, they both have teleport powers.
But i loved Sadako more.

Honestly, I am glad to see that the community loves Sadako regardless of the strength of her power! But pls, BHVR, some buffs and condemn rework would be nice.

glad im not the only one with this sentiment. i love playing as her, but at best i will get a 2k, and both would likely come in the end game. even when i used to only chase 8 hooks and let everyone go, getting those hooks was definitely an arduous task unless i had an extremely altruistic team who would trade hooks in front of me. but damn she's fun. idk how to explain it, shes just fun to use and i dont always mind losing when playing as sadako

I really like her too, and definitely want to see her get buffed, but for God's sake I really don't her want her to gain any anti-loop. I'm sick of it, I just want to play as and against a killer who doesn't have any. Especially the "being able to walk through pallets while demanifested" thing is a terrible idea in my opinion. I would much rather them buff Condemned or her teleport instead.
Oh, and also please make her character portrait a profile option on the forums. That would be the best buff of all.

I agree with that. Her base powers needs to buffed, she does not need another power.
Teleport cooldowns are so long, they need to be shorter. Lullaby is so stupid and kills her stealth.
And condemned def needs huge buffs. I mean it gives you ability to mori people, so it should be hard to get. But survivors have not any threat from this power because they can remove it so easy. This part is needs to being looked mostly.

I like Stealth, I like teleporting, and she has a cool aesthetic. Even her Condemned is fun when it works out sometimes. Personally I think she’s in the “ok” category, 2/5 stars, same as Wraith. Dredge is more effective, I put him 4/5. I like Sadako’s stealth a bit better and Dredge’s teleport a bit better but they’re both fun.
Eventually they’ll get around to doing Sadako’s balance pass, we just don’t know when since it was delayed with all the big changes they were working on for the perk update and such. The next chapter will probably just be the new characters and maybe new map since those take a lot of time. I’m betting the next midchapter in the fall will have the mori rework and maybe bot matches (and I think streamer mode), but maybe they could squeeze in Sadako’s balance pass too? 🤷♂️ I guess it’d depend on how far along those other announced new features are.

She has a ton of build variety and certain playstyles can drastically change the flow of the game without becoming too overbearing for neither side. Her biggest problem imo is that some of her best builds get hard countered by comms.
What made it for me was her condemned mechanic, most people really underestimate how devastating it can be. Most players just refuse to get value of her condemned mechanic because learning how to build it up is no easy task, you must have surgical precision with your teleports not only because of the hefty cooldown but also because the window to get good survivors condemned can be painfully small.
I won't deny that even with a good understanding of condemned she is still pretty underwhelming against most teams, but part of her charm is how difficult she is.

I agree with most of the suggestions but I really don't think condemned especifically needs a buff, the mechanic will definetely become too overbearing if you remove even one bar to reach max condemned. All they need to do is reduce the TV activation time to 60 seconds when teleporting to a TV and 80 when survivor grab a tape (currently 100 when teleporting which is absolutely ridiculous, 60 when survivors grab a tape) to encourage survivors to actually grab tapes.
Some other suggestions I have in mind
- cutting the time it takes for her to get out of the TVs by 1 second, currently it takes almost 3 seconds for her to start moving which kills the potential for some very cool plays and gives survivors way too much time to double back and deny her a stack of condemened (keeping in mind that 16 meters is the radius at which survivors get condemned, and the reaction time of the average person is about a quarter to half a second, survivors who are paying attetion can safely run 6 or 10 meters away from the TV when they see or hear sadako teleporting). Either that or increasing the range at which survivors gain condemned to 24 meters, which does not seem too unreasonable considering that is her terror radius.
- Increasing the speed boost, pretty simple suggestion but it could be a complete game changer
- Adding 2 extra tvs in random places of the map or some loops to make it easier to build up condemned and make keeping map pressure a bit easier.
- Buffing her add-ons. Good god are some bad, especifically the ones that require survivors being a certain distance from a tv. Telephone for example has a pitiable range of 7 meters and only slows survivors down by... 3%???????? They somehow made one of the scariest parts of the film and absolute joke. And don't get me started on the photograph.
I think her invisibility is pretty fine as is. Outsmarting survivors at loops with it feels amazing.

I think it is because of how smooth she feels to play. Her stealth power is easy to turn off and on with not much drawback and her TVs are super fast and convenient to use.
If I compare to Wraith, I would rather play her because he is clunky on how much you get slow anytime you using your power.

She isn't as weak as everyone says she is. That's what I've been saying though. Strength doesn't actually matter. People keep saying they want strong killers but don't actually play them. This is because they are not really as fun. We got Artist. No one plays. This is why I actually see a decent bit of Sadako. She's fun.

I think it might be because the only things really holding her back are the massive cooldown on the TVs, and maybe her lullaby. The only slowdown she suffers is when manifesting, and even then it’s a negligible slowdown. Otherwise, she just feels really good to play. Hell, I got the chapter as a birthday gift and I got her Adept on my very first game as her. Combine that with a very strong visual and audio design, and we have damn-near perfection in just about everything but game strength.

Anyone has trouble with her Fov? She's too small on certain loops you can't see anything, when you play something like nemesis you can see a lot more but maybe that's just me

This would be a brilliant and fitting addition to her powers, but it would be very strong, maybe nearly on par with Blight and Nurse.
As a draw back, I could see it being impossible to manifest within 1 second of phasing through a pallet (2.5s once you add on the 1.5s to manifest) or something like that. This would make it less useful on small, safer loops, but very effective against god pallets.
