Pallet Rework
im going to keep this short and simple. i personally think pallets need a rework cause im really am tired of having to stun the killer and still get hurt through pallets. i know people will say to throw the pallet down earlier but there are times i do and still get hit through the pallet even though i stunned the killer and no i don't want it how pallet used to be back in 2017-2018? not sure but something to fix these annoying hits.

If you got hit after dropping the Pallet, you didn't throw it down early enough

I wish they'd rework stunning in general.
Killers shouldn't get stunned 1 foot away from the pallet and certainly not 7 feet away from a head on play. IMO they should be susceptible to stuns during the entire pick up animation when it comes to pallets and head on.

Ever since Pallet Validation, getting hit and stunning the Killer only happens when you drop the Pallet to late

How about we take a third to half of the pallets away from every map and then try it your way? You know, so they're actually a SCARCE resource, to be used sparingly and at times when they would do the most good? Instead of blinding running from one to the next throwing every one and staying undamaged for the entire length of the game?

They tried this and it was reverted ASAP because it was completely broken and made any pallet 100% a free escape as long as you went down under it

There once was a time where this was a thing and it was a total ######### nightmare to play killer.

Paletts are a tough thing to balance. For newer players, or those who just never learned how to loop properly, they are basically the only chance they have to escape the killer, and once they are dropped they are practically gone. In the ideal version of the game the paletts are sorte the survivors ammuniton: they start with a full mag, spend them throughout the trial and in the end game most of the map has become a dead zone.
Problem is that experienced players are SO good at looping, that they can greed the absolute maximum out of each and every palett. In their hands paletts ain't anything scarce of expendable, but 4 paletts could last them till the end game. And then they still got a full map of paletts to tward the killer with.
Maybe paletts should be tied to MMR for dynamic spawns? The higher your MMR the fewer paletts spawn on the map and the higher the chance that you die, get knocked down a few MMR points/ranks/whatevers, until you start getting more and more paletts again.
A blanked reduction of paletts would indeed hurt new players and soloQ players who ain't god-loopers.

i know that but there are times im far from them and they still get the hit while getting stunned. its not fair

I just wish there was something they could do for the janky mechanics. I'd suggest letting killers drag survivors, but I'm sure that's yet another can of worms.

I thought it would be more engaging for killers if they weren't stunned 7 feet away from lockers... to each their own I suppose.

ping related issues most likely. i dont know if its possible to limit the ping so if u have that much you cant load to the game or something or not even search for a game even, so you updagraade the net, stop downloading por.... or anything else in general, way too many people using your wifi or something, dont know.

Connection can screw you over in such cases, but that's not something that can be fully fixed.

So you think making baby mode for killers makes the game more engaging? at that point why don't we make it so survivors have to hit skill checks for every step they take and if they miss one they actually die instantly, actually lets just remove pallets from the game, cant have our sweet precious killers being stunned at all :( seriously just walk around lockers and pallets, it's easily avoidable

Some killers struggle to even catch up to survivors and when they actually land a hit on a survivor that threw down a pallet, it should hit if there is the audio. Sometimes the hit validation even screws with the killer

this but add in blinds too and make killers able to turn their head during pick up animation. the clunkiness of this game would be improved sooo much.

They did this for a few days many years ago it was dreadful. They will never bring it back.

That's a connection issue, not a balance issue. TBH it affects both killer and survivor pretty bad.
