Do you tunnel a Survivor that forces DS on you?

I mean situation where you don't tunnel anyone and you just find the previously hooked person (you allready hooked someone else) or they find you and trying to take hit for someone and then they run to a locker to force DS on you or they just want you to pick them up so they can free run away. Do you tunnel / camp these Survivors or are you just "nah it's fine" and you keep playing fair?

Not DS. I'm generally fine with people doing that with DS because that means it's not going to come into play later in the match now. I'll certainly still go after them if there's no other targets besides them to go after but I won't go all Terminator on the situation and laser focus on taking them out.

Now a BT Bodyblocker on the other hand...

If they use it offensively then yeah doesn't happen nearly as much to me anymore since it's nerf.

No one forces ds on anyone. You the killer chose to go after the survivors even if they tried to bodyblock you.

Not because they used DS on me; if I do, it is in spite of it, because I’ve decided they are the best target to chase in the moment.

Not so true. When I try to avoid the unhooked player, but they block a doorway while I'm chasing someone else, thats not a choice, it is either swing or be stupid and let both go.

Survivors really jave zero room to complain about tunneling when they insist on body blocking with DS and BT.

Then you can get pressure by slugging them or forcing them to mend.

Not exactly my fault that you chose to body block with DS, why does the killer have to pay for that? Mending takes a couple of secs and slugging is useless without a slug build as WGLF or any number of perks will have them up in seconds.

Tunneling is the answer here. If they insist on you downing them, finish them and tip the scales.

Yeah but then you just hit the survivors and continue to chase the unhooker.

Not exactly. In many circumstances I'm not chasing either, but the unhooked body blocks at a doorway and I lose the other survivor. At that point I've tried to avoid both the vamp and tunnel, but it was forced on me. So tunnel it is.

No, it kind of make me smile that he is willing to waste it. I'm gladly eating it. He'll probably get slugged though.

Three one play I'll tunnel without fail is a BT body block attempt. I'll wait just the right time and then it's good night my sweet prince good night.

I tunnel everyone I can get my hand on

Nah it's often a waste of time. Conversely I will jump into a locker and waste killer time if I've just been unhooked whether I have DS or not. I have been a few games over the event where the killer will stand outside the locker for 30+ seconds respecting the DS I dont even have while the other survivors do gens (or more often than not walk around aimlessly)

Only if it's the logical play. Also, if you get unhooked and I just find you, I don't consider that forcing a DS and in general I would just slug you.

Lastly, with the new DS being disabled when gens are done, expect everybody who runs it to use it offensive 100% as there's the only way to get any value out of it.

depends on the killer I am playing, with killers that can just take the stun like blight or spirit I just go ahead and tunnel them out of the game. When I am playing Sadako I take the bait so I can tunnel them out later.

Depends on the circumstances. If the DS survivor is trying to take the heat off of someone on death hook already, I'll just play normally. If they are trying to rub it in just for the sake of it, then yeah, laser focus.

I almost always just grab them out of the locker. Sometimes they’re bluffing in which case, great! And if not no big deal, it means they used up that perk for nothing.

Not out of spite, but often they've put themselves in a situation where even with five seconds of a head start they're still the best target available, and since they put themselves back in the action they're fair game.

Same with BT bodyblocking, even with the sprint boost they're often the best target and they've signalled that they're fair game to chase, so they often end up chased over their unhooker. Nothing spiteful about it, just playing the game normally lol

I wanted to chase other survivor, but they wanted my attention. So I gave them my attention and killed them for it.

Just be careful what you wish for.

I have done same with Boil over -> let them bleed out and I am going to do same with off the record.
