I could get onboard with an original 'supervillain' killer.

Why does every franchise that's popular and has a killing character be proposed as a killer in games like DBD?
I can't remember which game it was with the terminator skin and the other non horror franchise character proposition a week or so back.
This isn't Fortnite that has to cram every merchandisable thing into it.
DBD until now at least stuck with horror themes.

Have you read the comics or just watched the show?

Termite as killer! Watch out male survivors!

As a fan of comics in general, I personally don't like the idea of putting overly powerful characters in a game like this. It takes me out of it to see a character that can clearly wipe everyone out in a split second have to spend an entire game scraping for victories. It just doesn't fit. I have the same thoughts about putting Xenomorphs in DbD. The current mechanics of DbD and the overall lethality of Xenos don't, in my personal opinion, mesh well. They would have to severely undercut what the character is capable of in order to fit the game. Nemesis is a good example of this as well. I realize he has his fans, but I NEVER thought he would be "done justice" because DbD requires that they can't just splatter everyone quickly.

Why have Homelander when we could have Black Noir, complete with a survivor perk that spawns bags of salted nuts

I think when their 'power' is just that they're incredibly physically powerful, then it can be a suspension of disbelief. I'd say this applies to Demo, Oni, Nemesis, and Pyramid. Realistically none of these should be bothered by a wooden pallet or a quickly moving locker door at all.
And I think the Xenomorph easily falls into the same bracket. It's even averse to fire so that could explain Flashlights and such.
Homelander however. He can fly, and vaporise an entire crowd of people in an instant. That doesn't really mesh as well. Like I said, it should be an original 'supervillain' character, one that isn't so omnipotent.

As a fan of Xenomorphs, there are simply things I expect to see, as they are major aspects of what makes them scary. The ability to come at you full speed on ANY surface, including walls and ceilings. Acid blood if they get hurt. Face munching. Poison barbed tail impaling. Ludicrous speed and massive lunges. Incredible predatory senses.
In short, to fit it into the game, a lot of aspects would have to be left on the chopping block, and I'd honestly just like to see a game devoted to bringing that stuff to the player rather than shoe-horning them into a game that can't represent them fully. It's a personal thing, though, and I don't blame people for not agreeing. They want to see more of their favorite licensed creatures/characters, and I completely understand that. No problem there. I just don't always agree on the implentation.

I also agree that I'd be kinda disappointed if a Xenomorph killer was missing a lot of the things it's known for. I think they could come close though, but it wouldn't be quite the same.
Spearing with the barbed tail and second jaws through the head could easily be part of the mori, while Acid blood probably wouldn't be applicable if you're not actually injuring the Xenomorph anyway (although I could see an add-on that inflicts any survivor who deals a stun to the Xenomorph with deep-wound).
You're right that the limited movement of this game would feel restrictive for the Xenomorph, and Demo kinda suffers from that in the same way, but there it is. All I can think of that would work is some kind of leap power like Victor's, that would allow the Xeno to clear obstacles. So like a stronger Demo shred, in exchange for the portals.
But honestly, what I'd really like is a decent remake or modern replacement for the 2010 Aliens vs. Predator game.

You're joking right? you want to add freaking superman clone as a killer?

Abso-friggin-lutely
But ya, Xeno would also just be a reskin of Demo for the most part. Hate to say it like that, but it's kinda true. Even then, it would still feel like "Xeno, but missing some ingredients".

I think it could work, perhaps if its the homelander clone from the comics after homelander and black noir (clone) fought? He's literally mangled and it would make sense as to why he can't fly around and such

I don't think he'd work in DBD. Aside from not being horror his powers (flying/laser eyes) would be too OP. They'd have to really cut him down to work in the game and you'll most likely be disappointed with the result.

OK I agree but only if the next anniversary is a Disgruntled Janitor Who rolls his slop bucket around fligging dung at survivors and smoking weed.
