Reward for P3ing Characters Before New Prestige System
We've all heard by now that the reward for Prestige 3ing your survivors and killers before the new system is pushed is going to be a "sparkly" character portrait only the player can see. That's STUUUUUPIIIIIIIIID. It should at least be something all other players can see AND something you can bring into each match if you want. I'm proposing that for those characters you prestiged, the devs unlock LEGACY cosmetics for those characters. They're in the game anyway.. unlock for those who have pumped in the hours. It would be AMAZING and much appreciate! I've been playing since 2018 and main survivor. I've only managed to prestige a handful of survivors. The impact AGAINST those who have played since 2016 would be negligible, but for those individuals who have poured their blood, sweat, and literal tears into their character, it would be unexpected and a great reward for player loyalty and devotion.

No more legacy cosmetics. Those were so ugly and the only reason they are coveted so much is because they are no longer available. At best they should apply that special glittery filter towards the new prestige icons or make them unique altogether for those who P3'd that way everyone could see it but even that's a stretch.

I guess that's an opinion. I wouldn't mind even a NEW LEGACY cosmetic. Take LEGACY and make it a different color. Would still be better than a portrait with a cheap game effect.

They were very clear they weren’t gonna do it. 1) they don’t want exclusive stuff. 2) the license characters wouldn’t be able to get anything

I honestly just want something with the portraits. Make them look better. Cosmetics would have been better but they already said they weren’t gonna do it

Blood portraits that would be viewable even in-match would be nice. And since the bloody cosmetics already exist I can’t imagine there would be licensing problems. But well.. even then it wouldn’t be usable on killers in-match and I would still hate the fact future characters wouldn’t have the chance..

I don't mind it wasn't cosmetics but I hate that it wasn't anything worth while. Seems like the rewards where thought of and created in 10 minutes.

they dont want exclusive stuff but they continue to add limited time twitch prime cosmetics AND make Redeemable codes expire quite quickly?

What about the exclusive cosmetics that we receive in events? like Doctor and Mikaela outfits from last halloween? Or like the Dredge and Haddie outfits in the last anniverssary event? past tomes recolours, stranger things chpater (more specifically demogorgon because new players cant play with his powers), chinese new year cosmetics (Jane torso, David pants, Clown head, Artist torso and head) and a bunch of other stuff.
I think that we could have a legacy.

Stranger things was a licensing issue. We are lucky that we still get to play with the stranger things characters because Netflix could have taken everything away. As for the event cosmetics, those they can put up in the store later I believe. The rift cosmetics show up in the store later that’s how I got one of Kate’s rift cosmetics even tho the actual rift was more than a year ago. Legacy was only gonna be to old players not new ones. Plus they can’t do cosmetics like that for licensed characters. They were clear at the beginning they weren’t gonna do cosmetics not matter how much I went it to be that

Hol'up, I knew the p3 reward was a golden shower portrait, but now its something that cant be seen by anyone else? Lol, how is this even a reward? Im surprised more people aren't outraged if this is true.
