Opinions on Dredge?

Imo I think he is B tier killer at best. Maybe bit lower B tier. His anti-loop is situational and in some games it might do big nothing (depends on the map and skill of survivors), his teleport is map dependant (some maps have not good locker placement or just few lockers) and locked lockers make it hard to use during chase (which is only usualy worth it during nightfall). Nightfall is nice but nothing crazy and on avarage it only triggers like 2 times per match (without speed up add-ons). He can get destroyed againts solid SWF group(s). But he is for sure way better than Sadako.

they are on the same spot imo... they have a bit of map control, but aside this they both sucks

They are not even close to same spot. He has way more tools than she has. But none of them are strong killer I would say. That's what they share the same.

I don't know about the competitive sense of gameplay, so I can't speak for everyone. Dredge's really fun for me to play and play against. I find it pretty scary design-wise and with it's ability to smash out of lockers and nightfall itself. One of the few killer chapters lately I'm very happy with.

Could Dredge be improved? Sure, but I'm really enjoying playing against it.

sadako doesn't have TR while phasing tho and in indoor maps this is better than the dredge "antiloop" if we can call it in that way... both are situational

    Mid-B tier.

Antiloop doesn't exist, but he has good mobility, tho it is quite situational

I like playing as him and against him. One of the best killers they came out with imo. Some goooood turky

C tier at best. Doesn't have anything in his kit that'll threaten high level survivors. He doesn't have anything in the way of anti-loop if the survivor just leaves the tile and runs to the next one.

    Mid-B tier, with add-ons High-B / Low A tier

I'll be among the outliers here and place him at A tier with the potential to be S tier. Mechanically he is pretty straightforward, has a good kit that features great mobility tricks and a very solid anti-loop that can also apply pressure to leave a loop. Nightfall is one of the best killer powers we've seen in awhile and it adds onto an already giant list that points to great snowball potential. A lot of builds can work with his playstyle and still dominate survs. He requires macro-gameplay and some strategizing in-game, which to me gives him a very high ceiling similar to Ceno and i'd place him at Mid-high A with the potential to be a solid S depending on Map, locker spawns, add-ons.

    A tier.

I have no problem getting a 3k / 4k every match unless I run up against a good SWF team. Even then I give them a really good run for their money.

Plus - I don't even know how to use the "remnant" thing and never use it unless unintentionally making me slow... If I took the time to learn that I can't even imagine...

I'd say B tier. It seems really strong when you first face it until you realize you can bait locker and remnant teleports in chase. It is some nice counterplay. Dredge is really fun to play as and against imo. The Nightfall mechanic is one of my favorite powers in the game. I also feel that Dredge will have a lot of cosmetics that can be mixed for unique styles in the future.

Mid B, reliant on locker spawns and the anti-loop is overrated since a good survivor will take that time to go to a new loop. Mobility is good though and is one of the best users of exposed perks like devour, dragon's grip and MYC.

Pretty decent. Strong and threatening, but definitely has counters and mindgame is the game against him.

People over rate the effectiveness of leaving a tile against him. If you place the remnant with some intelligence, you can funnel them where you want and they leaving a loop doesn't magically guarantee they'll make it to the next. Honestly, most of the time, when I force someone off a tile I get a hit shortly afterwards.
