This is getting really upsetting now
I really just want the old movement animations back and I can’t keep posting useless things to get it back the dbd movement needs to just come back I don’t know what to do anymore I just want it back

Does anyone even remember the old animations? I forgot about them as soon as the "new" ones were released

They were alot smoother than the current ones, after playing the old way for years I'll admit sometimes it is a little clunky feeling with the way they have it now

Just saw an older video a few days ago and my god… those animations were worse than I remembered.. I get the whole nostalgia thing, but please, try to look at it from an objective point of view.

The only thing better about the old animations were that the survivors had more of an aura of fear about their actions than they do now. Otherwise, they were way jankier and there's zero reason to downgrade back to them.

I'm kind of the same there. Once I got used to the new animations I was fine...took a couple of days though I must admit.
I find the new ones are a lot smoother, the older ones seemed to have a lot jerkier movements and not so fluid.

Bring back the animation bug that lets Survivors slide across the floor like they were on ice. It was entertaining. :P

So can we ever expect some improvements on the "new" animations? Shortly after their release, it was stated that they were still being adjusted based on feedback, particularly ones like the standing idle and injured run animations that still look very stiff.
As far as i can tell, no adjustments were ever made since the patch that removed the direction change transition animations. Those were actually my favorite part about the new animations, as they looked far more natural and took away some of the cheesy aim dressing jukes that frustrate killers.
Also, are we forever stuck with the "back rub without touching each other" healing animation?

Yes! I would love to see expressions of fear on the survivors' faces. No reason they should look so smug being chased by a psychopath.

I really think it would be cool to have options for which animation you'd want to use depending on what stature they should have. Ranging from Terrified (Like the old animations) to Brave (Like the new animations). Having that be a feature minus the old animations of course would be amazing to have. I feel like earning the brave stature would be a good way to show how much you've progressed!
