If 6.1.0 doesn't get changed soon, get ready for unhealthy and unbalanced experience.
So as shown in the PTB, there was buffs, nerfs, perks reworks. Prestige system rework, shrine of secrets changing as well. And i would like to discuss with you people how unhealthy DBD will become after this unless some serious changes knock in. So first let's talk about the shrine of secrets. This isn't a big issue for me, but it's still ridiculous how it works, so. Tier 1 of a perk costs 2000 shards, Tier 2, 3500 shards, and Tier 3, 4500 Shards. Then after you have done it, apparently it costs 15k shards for like 100K of BP. I know people doesn't use shrine for BP. But even so, why make 15k. Which takes pretty long to get, just to get a low amount of BP. Change this. Now onto the crazy meta. With OTR, DH, Mettle Of Man. You can take alot of hits. However, as much as i hate this. They can keep OTR as it is. Or even the meta in general. But atleast make the endurance hits not stackable. Once you get the deepwound state. No other endurance perk can be used. I did like some of the changes like being able to break pallets and gens 10% faster. Just like the basic attacks. However there is another problematic thing. They decided to buff Thanatophobia. With this, something like Legion has a pretty good slowdown. Or even another killer in general. If someone decides to do Thanatophobia+Pentimento. It will take 2-3 minutes to complete one gen if one person alone is working on it. I know most of you already know this because of the PTB and all. But this is for BHVR to actually listen to the community and change this unhealthy and unbalanced experience incoming if they decide to proceed with this update in the same way as it initially arrived on the PTB. This has made me lost hope on BHVR and think they actually don't know what the hell they are doing with DBD. And that's it.

On topic, I think the shard BP thing was a bug. I'm fine with shard cost for perks though since it is auto applied to everyone.
You can already take a ton of hits now, it's just a little easier then before and I think it's being blow out of proportion, That said I do think OTR shouldn't work at endgame and endurance shouldn't stack as you mentioned.
That 2% thana buff is also overblown as you can already do massive slowdown builds on them. I don't think it was needed but I also think people are freaking out over nothing as they have in the past. I could be wrong but we'll have to see.
Overall I think switching things up is fine and most people are freaking out over the extreme end of situations which can pretty much happen anyway. Do agree OTR shouldn't work endgame as well as endurance not being stackable.

The nerf to survs was great and buff to killers was mid, killers like pyramid-trickster and doctor still need buff, atleast pyramid with less slow speed to put sword on the ground and trickster. DS got balanced and Thana and gift of pain got buffed in the right ammount, no amount of salt change that, use OTR if bothered.

Average "I'm a survivor main" forum user.

Thana deserved that buff after being trash forever. I can't wait to use legion & Plague.

Ds was already balanced outside endgame

Can´t we just wait and see how things perform on live?
PTB has its advantages, but is in no way a real presentation of how people play.

Another problematic thing with long term endurance is that killers don't get any feedback at all whether or not survivors have it. Killer shows up to a gen area and survivors scatter. He has no idea which one of them has done conspicuous actions since last hooked unless he literally seems those actions. That means he could be wasting a TON of time chasing someone who is literally in no danger at all.
If BHVR truly believes that long term endurance is supposed to be for getting away from the killer and prevent tunneling only, then they need only show the killer that a survivor is protected with long term endurance. Killer won't even bother chasing them, then.

Yes. Because we need to have it on live to see if Survivors will stack Second Chance Perks and if Killers will stack Slowdown-Perks.
We will only see if this happens if the Patch 6.1.0 goes live...

If i played killer i would have quit already from burnout.
Needed to last less to be more optimal, to punish the killer less for rushing a objective. I only use DS mostly but since i started killer i recognize it is not easy

I'm more than ready. My last trial was about a week ago. I'm enjoying the forum drama and other games. Life's good.
Partial disagree on the second part. DS needed to deactivate when working gates. Other than that, it didn't have endgame issues. At least, no more than camptunneling in endgame are an issue. But that's just an exercise in conversation at this point.

Survivors stacking second chance perks isn´t exactly something new. There will be a simple switch from DS to OTR and thats it.
Killers stacking slowdown perks? There isn´t much to stack anymore unless you count Call of Brine + Overcharge an efficient stack. One where the killer literally has to stay there, because every decent survivor will just interrupt it.
I say, let all hell lose. Remember that month with Boil Over? It was a hilarious mess. Survivors trying to abuse it and killers responding with slugging.
We need more things like that. That change the stale meta gameplay.

Sir,these are the forums.
You can't expect people to be reasonable here

Yeah, i know. Everything is instantly the end and everyone threatens to uninstall when they favorite perk gets changed.
When people just should see this as a chance to change their loadout and give other perks/playstyles a try.
