Why can you stack Pop with Pain Resonance?!
Why is this even allowed on high mobility Killers?! It’s so unbalanced (especially on Solo Q) it guarantees a 4k since most of the players (including me) will not play against that since your basically just sweating so hard to get that 4k every match!

Let go off your gen and don't touch it right before you see the aura of a survivor getting hooked.
If your gen gets hit with Pain Resonance then the killer won't be able to pop it as long as you don't tap the gen

This moment when players complain about things they could easily avoid by countering them. How to do that? By doing nothing when the gen popped with PR.

So just watch the gen while they are losing progression? Nice logic.
I am glad devs fixed this issue, now PR will still make your gen lose progression but they can not see which generator anymore. So kinda Pop + PR or PR + DMS combos died.

It would take like 80 seconds before the gen lost the same progress the pop would have done so yeah watching the gen lose progress is the right move here.
The perks technically don't stack. Survivors allow them to stack
It is a good change that they are removing the notification though, you can still get something simular if you add surveilance but atleast it takes a perk slot more

That combo doesn’t work. You can’t use pop on a regressing gen.

Yeah but point is now you need to use perk for information or you need to guess it.
PR had everything: Regression, notification and survivor was screaming. It created lose - lose games for survivor. Do not repair gen when someone down, wait for PR. Do not touch gen because killer know which gen is most repaired, they will come for pop etc.

it loses progress at a whole .25 c/s. oh, no, if literally wait out the entire pop duration it will lose a whole... 11 seconds of progress.
Except you won't have to wait that long. You'll usually have to wait like 20 seconds at most.

Unpopular opinion but what makes PR so strong is not regress, but the info it gives and its synergy with DMS.
I think they killed the perk because this way its synergy with DMS is gone without the need to actually change DMS in any way

Same reason 90% of survivors run the same meta / second chance perks and no one bats an eye about it :)

So? The Killer gets to kick another gen and still gets the base regression for the one that you let go, its a lose lose situation but this thread is moot since this combo will be gone when Pain Resonance no longer gives the noise notificatio and PGTW is severely nerfed.

You obviously don't let it keep regressing if you can
Hide somewhere nearby and either the killer leaves to kick another gen and you can jump on the one that got hit with pr with minimal regression or they will go look for you and chase you and they will have to not use their pop
The combo was overtuned but their were definitively ways around it

You could. But it's gonna be much easier and viable with the next update, as PR won't push you off the gen. So, survivors will be stopping the regression just because they're on the gen.
Why though? Because there would have to be too many stipulations in place to avoid it. That would be my guess.
