I thought BHVR was bugging facecamping and was very wrong
Just made a post pointing this out, but I'll write it here to outline it again.
Counter to Facecamp bubba is do gens. Which will now take longer.
And with the wonderful new changes to monstrous shrine (which every facecamp bubba will use) kills them faster.
So survivor gets camped, dies faster and then he moves to his next victim.
Buff much?

Just letting you know... The new Monstrous Shrine will kill a survivor 20% faster BUT when the killer is 24 meters away.

You can. Just run Pain Resonance and DMS in addition to MS, so one gen theyre on gets regressed and blocked, so survs have to waste even more time. and if someone is stupid enough to go for a safe your 4k is pretty much guaranteed.

You cannot facecamp with the new monstrous shrine. It's literally cooked into the perk.
Edit: I didn't put any words into your mouth, I didn't use anything other than the Quoting function.

Monstrous shrine turns off, you cannot facecamp with it, it is obvious what the person you replied to meant. There is zero synergy.
If you really are playing the semantics game it is an absolute waste of time.

Still saying I was wrong is kinda sad. They said faceamping with MS isnt possible. I told why it is still possible. Easy thing. But whatever. Some people just cant excuse their behavior as they just want to be right.

It's not like half the roster has speed, traps, or teleport that allow them to completely cheese that mechanic to instantly get back to hook or anything...

Oh yeah, definitely, we can use MS and do facecamp just to completely waste a perk slot.

Several killers with those mechanics are low-tier, too. I don't see the issue with getting back to a hook fast, not with the new baked in endurance.

This is incorrect as well, as new PR doesn't explode the gen anymore so DMS doesn't proc and you get no notification as to which gen it hit so you get no info on where to go to run survivors off of it to manually proc DMS. It's a good change imo, but it won't work in the manner you described anymore.

Since monstrous shrine turns off when you're within 24m of that hook, it is literally impossible to both facecamp and have that perk active at the same time

You forgot a little detail... New monstrous shrine will work only IF THE KILLER WILL STAY AWAY from the hook by 24 meters...

They didnt state that they removed the block-off effect, just the screaming effect. that would mean their statement would have been incorrectly worded as theyre different mechanics.

The reason DMS triggers and blocks the gen is because (on live) the explosion and scream knocks the survivor off the gen. They don't need to state they removed the block because it's from a seperate perk that is creating that effect. They stated they removed the explosion and scream, which if you know the mechanics of the interaction between the perks, already tells you that the gen won't get blocked.

The reason you get off the generator is because of the scream. It's just like when Doctor uses his Static Blast and you scream and are interrupted with whatever action you're currently doing. DMS will no longer synergise with PR to allow for an instant 45 second block, and you'll still have to go and actively push someone off of a generator to get DMS value.
Deadlock, meanwhile. Now that will be a camper's best friend.
