A simple change to immediately balance Nurse.
Just make her unable to noclip through walls, instead reduce her blink to a gapcloser. Basically she only can blink to places she can actually see, that should nicely reduce her map mobility and give people more time to breathe while breaking line of sight.
What do you think? Would this make her more fair to play against?

And why do you think so? Would you still consider her too strong?

If you increase her movement speed to 4.4, it might work.

Might as well afk on indoor maps. 96% movespeed, can't blink through walls, still same fatigue timer.
Also, Suddenly countered by the rock loop.
I don't think nurse is a character you can really nerf. You'd have to rework her entirely.

This literally defeats the point of Nurse. Play Blight/Spirit at that point. Also this presupposes Nurse is unbalanced in the first place.

I've seen this suggestion a few times already.
That would be a terrible nerf, there would be no reason to play her instead of just Blight
1 -
Not the way to do it imo. Esepcially if she keeps everything else the same.
She'd effectively just lose on indoor maps.
1 -
The difference between her and Blight would be that the former could freely jump to a survivor while the latter needs to set up a bounce path to actually get to the survivor. Very different playstyles.

And why should she be able to dominate on all maps? Take the chainsaw killers for instance, they're differently restricted by indoor maps as well. Killers are bound to have maps which they suck or perform well on, what's so bad about that?

You misspelled "garbage in indoor maps and tremendously worse against the absolute majority of tiles in the game"

Chainsaw killers does good in indoor maps too though, so yes if killers are almost always losing in a map it's bad.

She shouldn't be able to dominate on all maps, but there also shouldn't a map a killer loads into and knows they lose in. That's bad because that's not proper balance, at all.
Billy and Bubba can definitely still perfrom decently well on the indoor maps. Bubba definitely more so, but a Billy doesn't think they lose the second they load into Lery's or The Game. This kind of nerf would make Nurse unable to do anything on some of the indoor maps. Esepcially Lery's.

What about Billy on Lery's? His chainsaw is basically unusable on that map due to the large number of vaults, walls and obstacles on the map.
0 -
If you make only that change? It'd be terrible.
She's 3.8, she needs to go through walls to get anywhere.
Make her 4.4? Congrats, now she can play like a bot, force a vault/ pallet drop, blink, and now they die. It's similar to Old Death Slinger, only stronger.

It’s almost like killers or survivors should not be automatically favored or screwed off completely RNG factors that are irrelevant to player skill. That is called bad design lmao.

There is plenty of straight road, and his chainsaw shines most in pallets anyway.

Then how about exhausting her if she decides to "noclip"? It would immediately end her chain of blinks and still get rid of these busted hits through walls. This is without a doubt the most frustrating part about this killer, her ability to flatout ignore/bypass map structures.

"why not make her literally useless on indoor maps and tremendously worse on most tiles"
Learn to mindgame instead of complaining.

And so, everyone would like something to be changed in the game, but many have different opinions, which explains the devs taking so long to make significant changes to the Game.
In the nurse's case, one thing I'd really like to see changed on her is the Blink Hit, to stop being an m1 hit, as well as the Blight power hit, so she can't take advantage of exploded, sloppy Butcher ,Startruck, while using a blink, these skills make her very overpowered for a long-range killer, I know a lot of people will be against my idea, but it just went to show that everyone wants things their way, but not everyone is please with that

Range/3 blinks is undeniably busted, but there’s people that unironically think base/recharge is uncounterable despite all the evidence literally showing the opposite, which is why this kind of spam thread happens in the first place, like the nonstop Nurse threads recently.

I agree, even because the nurse is strong in open maps and not in closed maps, so this idea would only harm her where she is already weak and keep her strong in open maps, but I disagree on the part of nerfing her too much, I wouldn't nerfar, I would just leave it indifferent, she would become weak where she is already weak and she would remain strong where she is already strong
