My only complaint about the new prestige system
I have to say overall I am very happy with the July update and think BHVR, devs and mods deserve credit for listening to feedback and trying to please as many fans as possible. Definitely a huge step in the right direction imo.
The prestige system is great for long term players. When the update goes live I will have every perk for every character which otherwise would have taken me months.
My only concern is whenever a new chapter is released, we will now have to get the survivor and killer to P3 in order to unlock their tier 3 perks for the rest of the characters. I know this is still better than what we currently have, but overtime the grind is going to come back. I don't have a solution (other than removing tiers from perks) but wanted to flag in hopes the devs might take this into consideration and find a solution.

Simple solutions are always the best.
If they wanted to reduce the grind by 75% they could simply reduce the prices of nodes in bloodweb by 75% and not touch ANYTHING else. It would effectively reduce the grind by... Let me do the maths...

The grind would still continue to go up with each character released. Plus, items/add-ons/offerings are not the part of the grind they're trying to reduce. BHVR is specifically reducing the required grind of unlocking perks. This is made painfully obvious with the addition of 97 more prestige levels plus "showing off" prestige levels to get people to grind competitively. The grind is meant to be endless, but the grind for perks is extremely prohibitive for new players and chases them away. Perks are absolutely necessary to play, especially when you're new and need all the help you can get.
BHVR should have removed perk tiers on top of this prestige update. The grind is still way, way too much for new players.

Yet we'd still have to deal with the awful bloodweb RNG.
The new system removes that entirely, prestige to guarantee everyone has that perk available.

No thanks I have gone through 100 blood webs for Jane and Zarina and still no bt. Bill is p1 rn for when the new update will get bt on everyone finally

Tier removal is the lazy nuclear option, and when combined with these new changes, would basically invalidate the perk grind altogether.

Don't get me wrong my brother - I'm all for that stupid grind to be gone. It's toxic especially to new players and without them the game is gonna slowly die. Right now, the first thing they realize after playing for some time is the amount of time they need to get the perks they want. The second thing is to get out of this freaking mess and play something else, like civilization or sth.
Tier removal would be much appreciated but there are many ways they can limit the grind. BHVR simply does not want the grind to be reduced. They want us to THINK they reduce it without them actually doing that.

The grind will be always the same with each new chapter. You always just have to p3 the new characters to get all perks on all characters.

We need recycling. Refund bloodpoints with a lower efficiency. There's too much trash to take from bloodweb. See my offerings and pages 3 and 4. Why would I use that if I have only 1 offering slot? The offering drop rate is too high, there are many options, and they sunk our bloodpoints. This needs solving.

The fact that you only have to prestige these new characters and then you're done is a vital component of why this grind reduction works, though?
Right now you would have to get a new character to 40 and then go back to every single other character and grind them for god knows how long. This way, it's one and done- that's perfect as far as perk unlocking goes. There's still room to improve stuff like BP gain and node cost, but in terms of unlocking perks, they've already fixed it; the grind will not grow over time the way it does right now.

The grind won’t increase at that point because the maximum cost is fixed at 150 bloodwebs to get all the new perks to level 3. That’s the absolute worst it will ever get in this system in terms of unlocking perks.
