Let’s see all the killer nerfs, Freddy nerf, clown nerf, deathslinger nerf, wraith nerf, spirit nerf, ghostface “changes”, stridor nerf and iron will buff, bbq nerf, ruin and tinkerer nerf, huntress nerf, artist and pinheads nerf.
but but survivor always get the most nerf lol, stop coping we all know killers deal with even more unwanted nerfs. Meanwhile only like 4 good perks for survivors was change for the better it wasn’t really nerf. It was a healthy change. Just like when spirit got nerf and everyone said she unfair and it’s rng lol

In WHAT world was ironwill buffed? Did we read the same patchnotes? They've lowered the reduction that Ironwill gave, whilst also completely disabling it if you are exhausted, meaning that it's effectiveness to lose a chase with a killer has been completely reduced.
BBQ&Chilli nerf consists of.. taking away the BP incentive? you can still run the perk for aura detection which hasn't been changed? It's not a gameplay change? so how is it that much of a nerf? lol???????
Stridor's nerf is no longer relevant because Ironwill has been nerfed?
Ah yes Ruin nerf.. Do we want to start including that gen repair speeds have been increased and the other regression gen perks that have been MASSIVELY buffed? Overcharge, eruption, Jolt, Scourge GOP and Thana ALL say hello! With some of these being stack-able!!!!!!!!!
Not to mention that Tinkerer also got a trade-buff for it's nerf? Hello?
All the nerfs to those killers yet they are completely playable and maintain positive stats! woow. Unbelievable, am i right? Not as if killers didn't just receive multiple base-kit buffs too! yeah, stupid survivors just always complaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not entirely sure of what is meant by the word charges, but that sure sounds like a buff

That was just them saying that the gens go slower now so Killer now has a bit more time to capitalize on Tinkerer. That is not an actual mechanical buff to the perk.

Getting better in chase is something an individual can do as a solo. The grab some friends is for those that rely heavily on team support to reach egc and dislike the random solos sbmm pairs them with. I referenced swf as the last resort for those that feel stagnated in advancing their own skill through solo play.
I have no grievances with how solo currently plays.

If you arent aware all gen defense got nerfed for the sake of that extra 10seconds, which in total that 10seconds is 2.5 of the old pop.
If you actually read what I said I explain that tunneling and camping will always exist and only stop when you REWARD the killer for going for other players and hooks.
This patch does the opposite. Survivors didnt get hurt much at all except the op DH which countered all basic attack killers because E for distance

It's certainly a bit of an overreaction, definitely, though this is no rarity on forums such like this, but the OP definitely has a very valid point. These changes we are getting might be good, but survivors just aren't getting anything as compensation. There needed to be nerfs to tunneling and camping, proper ones, instead we just get 5 seconds of haste and endurance, and camping is even getting buffed, which is ridiculous.
I am positive a lot of survivor players, especially solo queue players, will take a break from this game, and killer queue times will very likely go up like crazy.
Though seeing some of the posts on these forums, I feel like some people just want those juicy killer queue times.

No solo buffs this year, this confirmed by community manager. Nothing good for survivors before June 2023 sadly.

The rise of proxy camping and tunneling is what made it a required perk in my opinion.

Yup. People asked for survivor action portraits and they said not this year. Everything we get this year was announced on the anniversary, nothing more sadly.

Kill rates have been dropping across the board over the last few years, When across all MMRS killers have a sub < 50% kill rate what should be done?

Yeah that is indeed pretty disappointing. Kind of wish they would postpone some other stuff, maybe even something like bots, for these solo queue improvements. They would be so good. And survivor icons should definitely not take a year to implement, it's clearly only because they are focusing on so many other things, some of which seem less important to me currently.
However, I personally also think it would already go a very long way, especially for solo survivors, if camping and tunneling were simply nerfed adequately, in proportion to the killer buffs, so those strategies would be noticeably weaker. It would make the life of a solo survivor much more enjoyable.
So I am beyond hoping we will see nerfs to camping and tunneling very soon. And I feel they will kind of have to, because I just can not see killer queue times not go up a lot. While I still think solo survivor being dead is exaggerated, I am convinced a noticeable amount of solo survivors will take a break from this game until it's more fun again.
If they properly nerf camping and tunneling, I could probably live with the fact that these survivor icons won't make it into the game this year.

As someone who solo-q's like 95% of the time, I gotta say.
Game is fine. I didn't play this game for 3 years and had no problems getting back into the swing of things, and none of the perk changes affect me because I don't use any of the perks anyway.

Yes im talking about every killer nerf since I started playing. I joined when the twins was the newest killers and I know that each patch was a killer nerf, or a killer “buff or rework”which they will just take away things just to make the buff useless or killer more clunky and slow.

Hmm, yet to be seen, a very big downside to Eruption is you need to go kick the gen, potentially multiple, while it has progress (since that's how you know they're working on it and you can't kick a gen with no progress) and then you next chase needs to end before that gen is done.
The problems with Eruption weren't just the numbers, it was also how to activate it. Obviously with PTB teams you'll probably get it off a lot, but in the actual game where good survivors are very safe most of the time and chases can last longer than a gen, let alone finishing an already worked on one, it might not be amazing.
It might be decent, but it might not, I wouldn't say they're "changing the meta to gen kicking" when a lot of other aspects about gen kicking are still trash and we might have 1 decent perk potentially.

The issue is, that every single time something "op" gets introduced/nerfed. One side writes, that the other side will face longer queues (i´m guilty of this myself), because XXX will stop playing. If its as harsh as people claim is hard to say. (just like the "the game is dying" claims, that have been around for 5 years.)
As far as i can tell, all changes aim to make camping stronger. Maybe its the devs attempt to even out the kill rates by increasing kills through camping.
But thats definetly something that will have a negative impact on survivors fun. So i´m not sure why they are doing this without thinking at the consequences.

With the state of the game. With so many killer mains claiming they have to tunnel to stand a chance. I have to disagree that it isn't required.
