Will We Get Warning of the New Patch?

With all the prestige catchup rewards coming in the next patch, there's clearly a lot of interest in setting up our characters to take advantage of this. I'm personally trying to get as many killers to P1 as possible, to massively cut down on the perk grind (unrelated, I only have about 3 and a half left, and two of those are Wraith and Huntress, so if I don't get those I won't cry too hard), and at the same time I'm using up all my cool stuff and flans to help me gain BP and to try out some addons I'd be too miserly to burn otherwise.

I don't want to prestige all my killers right away, because I want to keep playing with them, but I also don't want to leave it off too long and miss the patch and the subsequent rewards. I know that the specific date the patch will be released hasn't been announced yet, but WILL it be announced before it drops?

    PTB was on a wednesday, so maybe its the 20th. Nobody knows for sure. Im playing Nemesis only atm, because I have over 100 Flans. I use them all before I send him to P1.

    All other killers are on P1 at minimum (every other flan is on P3-Characters anyway ^^).

    No, they will maybe post something 2 hours before patch the same day. Better do what you want to do super fast

    Just keep in mind that for characters who already have a lot of perks on them, you will automatically get prestige levels. This may or may not apply to you or affect your choice, but I just want to make sure people aren't missing this point.

    In my case, I have lots of characters who are P0 but have 170+ perk tiers, so they will automatically go to P3 or higher when the patch drops. I'm definitely NOT going to P1 them now and lose all of my items/addons/offerings.

    Now that you mention it, didn't they say they would give us notice? Does the PTB count as that notice?

    I'm not so sure the patch will be next week, as people are predicting. I think it'll be the week after. But I've been wrong before. More than a few days notice would absolutely be appreciated

    Yeah, I've already have 6 killers who are setup to get to prestige 3 with all their current addons and offerings, so even if I prestige everyone a week early I still have some favorite options to play with.
