oh it's so fun I love going against range add ons I'm so glad they're working as intended by completely deleting a killers counterplay I love it so much.
I love how now that it's been confirmed to be "not a bug" the amount of range nurses Ive been versing has almost tripled. Versing range has went from a rare occurrence to being literally every nurse I verse.
Fun and interactive.
Respect to the nurses not using any range right now, yall are actually fun asf to verse.

The difference between the two is night/day
Like I can do decent against a good basekit nurse I think but when ranged addons are in the mix It feels like no matter what I do nothing works
The increased speed just throws me off and it's super hard to react and even if I make the 'right' move I still get hit anyway because of the speed.

Range and three blinks need reworks but everything else is fine.

I only rarely use these add-ons (or any other for that matter), but if it's true that the speed-boost feels unnecessary, I wouldn't say it deletes all counterplay. It makes some situations more difficult though. (If its an hyperbole, I understand. I'm just saying.)
I don't think any of the Nurse player would disagree losing that speed boost effect associated to the range.

See what bothers me is that the speed boost exists to compensate for the increased range
But that shouldn't mean it makes shorter/medium range blinks faster by default. The addon buffs the entirety of nurse's kit and not just range, which is absurd.

If they don't crutch they can't win (most Nurse players anyway) so it's perfectly normal and doesn't surprise me

I don't see a problem with the three blinks. I don't think it's that interesting except to get the achievement.
At most it's good for a surprise attack when you go against good teams. Against the others, there are better choices IMHO. I feel it may be a long discussion for another thread. (There are enough Nurse thread out there for the moment, so I'll file it under "later".)

You don't need range at all. Recharge yea i'll agree no recharge mothers dwelling is pain but range is absolutely not needed.

Give her 2 extra meters on her basekit blink, nerf or rework her ranged addons.
Also allow Nurse to file restraining orders against players who make multiple threads about her in under a month.

I've gone against the exact same killer three or four times when they were using the add-ons, and then once when they weren't. Every time they used the addons, the entire team was absolutely man-handled for an easy 4K in minutes. The one time they didn't have the add-ons? The Nurse was the one who got blown out, it was an easy escape.
The fact that we're supposed to accept that this is working as intended is just... I don't have the words...

I can't remember the last time I encountered a Nurse that didn't run the purple range addon.

I will go out on a limb and say you would complain even if she didn't have range addons. Blink speed doesn't mean that much when it comes to short blinks. You have to anticipate the blink before she is done charging it or you will get hit. The same goes for any killer coming at you at close range. If you are actually getting hit from far distances, maybe you need to reflect on your movements/pathing.

Nurse is one of my fav killers to verse mostly because beating her is the most satisfying thing in the game.
Those babies pick up what they think is the most busted thing in the game thinking they are now invincible, get mindgamed by simple doublebacking or other stuff like that a couple of times and start literally seething because they got a reality check about them not being as good as they think they are.
One of my favourite moments was double range Nurse on the Game that I juked around those ground holes on the second floor and she yeeted herself down twice and RQ`ed.
Another was also double range Nurse on Temple of Purgation with pain res&dms and agitation&starstruck that tunneled out a guy on 5 gens, switched to me and I ran her for like 3-4 solid chases and I went down quickly in only one and she just abandoned me once. I and the other guy managed to escape eventually and that clown started complaining about me using DH to win.
I also recall running one Nurse for 3 gens at the start of the game, but I didn't win this one because after she got me, my team just died trying to save me. I got another chase with her in the end of the game, lasted for like a minute and then she slugged me to death. Literally stood still near me for the entirety of bleedout timer and then picked me up on last second to also hook me. The guy wasted 4 minutes of his life just to spite me, because he got mad I juked him, lmfao.
So, anyway, I like facing Nurse. Her power doesn't really require a lot of reaction speed, so as long as you read her, you're fine. Much better than stuff like Twins or Huntress, etc, where you are either going down pretty much no matter what or have to have really quick reaction to properly juke the killer. I'd rather take Nurse over the half of roster at the very least.

If you played nurse both with and without range addons, you'd understand that even 1 purple range addon making her much stronger and harder to react.
I played nurse both sides with every single addon. And I do agree, only range addons feels completely busted to play against, especially if this is a good nurse player.
Without range addons, she feels like 30-40% slower with her blinks at any range, thats why survivors at least have more time to react and change direction, double-back, etc.
Her range addons are actually unhealthy, I can't say otherwise.
Without range addons, she's not that strong, let's be honest here.
