Since when Legion is SOOOOOOOO boring to verse?
I Swear, he is more annoying than Doctor or Nurse, and i hate them.
Somebody got hit? Prepare for mending because he will reach you unless you are on other end of the map because his fenzy lasts almost forever.
Oh, don't heal you say, it must nice to play broken under -20% from thana.
It's a lose-lose situation, heal = waste of time, don't heal = oneshot against 115% killer.
Legion is not broken or op, he is just too annoying, especially in solo

yup, he's so boring to play against.
8 -
Yeah, boring... And worst after the update...
4 -
While I agree mending isn't that fun, yall aren't really spending that much extra time on gens because of thana. He's not exactly kicking them or causing regression while he's frenzying around.
Also, you want killers nerfed and less diversity, this is how you end up with less diversity.
6 -
Because with their updated addons you can reliably hit all 4 survivors with just about every use of their power. Pair that with thanatophobia and some other meta slow down perks, suddenly you are in a 30 minute dbd game where you were never going to win from the start.
1 -
Just hide in lockers the whole game. Then escape after everyone dies. Its still boring though.
0 -
Always. From their 110% days to now.
0 -
It's not about diversity, the Killer make games boring af. And that's a fact.
0 -
We can counter the boring Legion by being even more boring. Everyone hide in lockers the whole game and don't do anything.
3 -
Doh!

Seeing how your first post is just a complaint with no constructive criticism, it definitely becomes about diversity. You don't want to play against Legion, and you've put up nothing that would make legion fun to play.
6 -
Well, revert buffs from pastt patches at least? It's not my job.
2 -
So you just want to complain.
Got it.
9 -
Having OP killers is also, how you end up with less diversity.
0 -
Are you saying Legion is OP?
3 -
Those buffs didn't really do a whole lot. Legion pre-patch still plays largely the same as legion post-patch. It's still legion, with barely a power if survivors spread out and split once they hear the terror radius.
2 -
Good luck with spreading in solo with latest Buffs.

Real question:
When was he NOT boring??
7 -
Probably after recent rework.
Legion seemed popular before and feel like more players are now picking Legion more.
However, I wouldn't consider him either powerful or annoying. (I'd say Thana is annoying, not Legion.)
Because teammates when playing solo are the real disaster against Legion.
Like infinte self-care, not 99 mending when he is in Frenzy, hiding in locker while detectable with instinct.

Base kit, no. But some of his new addons, yes.
0 -
Literally since the beginning.
Remember the Frank's mixtape + Stab wounds study combo? Or the unbearably stupid moonwalking exploit?
0 -
Legion wouldn't be annoying if BHVR weren't so insistent on holding M1 being the main gameplay for survivors.
0 -
Legion has always been a very boring Killer to go against. Funnily enough, they are one of the most fun Killers to play IMO.
However, it is just boring to go against Legion. And they are the prime example for "Survivors dont only complain about the strong Killers", because Legion has been on the weaker side since release.
And they will be even more boring to face with the Thana-Buff and 90 second Gens.
4 -
They are superfun to play though so surely that balances it out!
0 -
As far as I remember Legion has been boring to verse since forever, now is worse because its much easier for them to put almost everyone on Deep Wounds and since now they are also super easy to play as a lot of people have switched to them.

4 stacks of Thana increase gens to 110 seconds. That's a difference of 14 seconds and approaching two minutes of holding a button that will inevitably get interrupted anyways. Thana is the worst of all words: unfun, uninteresting, and anti-competitive. And it's going to be even worse come Tuesday. It's an imbalanced, boringly conceived perk and it's boring to play against.
2 -
I dont think Thanatophobia is a bad designed perk but it suffers the same problem Stridor has, both perks by themselves arent that bad but when they were conceived Spirit for Stridor and Legion/Plague for Thanatophobia didnt exist, once you put those into the mix the perks become broken.

It's wild how people complain about legion now when they're essentially the same as they were previously. In fact chain hits are harder to get without the duration addons.
1 -
Legion got buffs that didn't really increase the killer's power - only made him more annoying to play against because it makes the game last longer.

You, as one fourth of your team, has a lot of agency regarding this. Play away from other survivors.

"Somebody got hit? Prepare for mending because he will reach you unless you are on other end of the map because his fenzy lasts almost forever."
It only lasts 10 seconds... It is 20 with Pills, but you're so slow that you need both Mural Sketch and two hits back to back for it to be a threat.
"Oh, don't heal you say, it must nice to play broken under -20% from thana."
Then use a medkit. They're so commonly used that I will straight up not believe you if you say you don't use them.
But let's say you don't. The key isn't to not-heal, but to be careful and only heal when it would be most prudent, not after a love tap from Frenzy. After that, split up (which you should be doing against every killer), making it difficult to chain hits and build up his Thana debuff.
"It's a lose-lose situation, heal = waste of time, don't heal = oneshot against 115% killer."
Bubba, Billy, Myers, Plague, and Ghost Face.

he has always been boring to verse
2 -
Legion has ALWAYS been boring. That's just a fact.
The only reason we're noticing it more now is because even more people have started playing them after the buffs. And we're going to be seeing more Legions after the next update.
The only thing that could possibly make Legion "fun" to play against is a complete rework.
Or at least make them tolerable by doing the bare minimum and removing the mending mechanic from their power & nerfing Thana.
3 -
I can't really input. They appear harmless enough but they're never picked. Never see them and when I picked them for dailies I just slapped anything I got out of the bloodweb by level 40.

Play a game with Never-Sleep pills with Mural Sketch, it makes using your power extremely trivial.
0 -
You're right, approaching two minutes of holding a button that can be done consecutively amongst your team. It's the same thing as before, just fresher paint. Even if that paint look bland as hell. I don't think it's anti-competitive when BHVR has said killrates are too low.

I will give it a shot and come back here as soon as able.

Solo survivors don't have the coordination to deal with 110-second gens. Lots of killers will say lack of skill explains why solo survivors are unsuccessful. If killers need 110-second gens to deal with solo survivors, that is a a skill issue.
As far as kill rates, only numbers matter. The latest data is from Dec.-Jan. and show around 55% kill rate. Solos survive 15% less than SWF. This is a crossplay game, too. The Deathslinger on Switch is incorporated into the same data as PC MKB Blight even though they're two different things. Yet, they've received the same buffs. A lot of things on the killer side are going to be easy mode and not worth playing against for solo survivors.

Good. Let it. Let it create an imbalance if you're right and let it test their new queue incentives and let's see if the system works. What can I say? I've never struggled with thana legion, really? Even if it's the truth, it's subjective. Let survivors speak with their playtime, or find SWFs and adapt, and if the I's have it BHVR will do something about it -
or they won't - I'm looking at you Deathslinger Revert.

Every killer has been called boring. It doesn't matter how weak or strong you think they are.
1 -
This seems true and accurate, particularly on larger maps.
