A New Mechanic For Mori

I've been thinking about this for a few week, the current mori system is unbalance, make it too strong for killer ruin the game to survivors side, nerf it too much and no one even bother to use it.

So I came up with this idea to make Mori more meaningful, like Devs said in the stream, making it more like a reward.

-Remove Mori offering.

-Each killer now will have their own version of mori as a ''Black add on'' that only show up every 10 blood web level.

-This add on require the understanding of the killer basic abitlities.

-This add on only allow the killer to kill 1-2 survivor per match.

-The survivors can cancel the killer mori ''token'' by various action or delay this killing.

Here some of my example that I came up with:

-Nemesis: Black add on "Termination sequence": each successful tentacle hit on SURVIVOR count as 1 charge, at 12 charge he gain a "Mori token", the next time he land a successful tentacle hit on survivor, if that survivors is already infected by t virus, instantly activate mori animation and clear the token, if not put them in dying state instead and refund half of the charge.

Special effect: if Nemesis successfully mori a S.T.A.R.S member by this add on, half of the charge will e refund.

The survivor will have an Umbrella icon appears on their screen give them indication to the rage of Nemesis. The icon will change color as Nemesis gain charge.

Nemesis can only mori 2 survivors with this add on, using this add on add 3 more vaccine chest on the map and using vaccine will not reveal survivor location to Nemesis. Stun the Nemesis by any mean to make him lose HALF of his current charge.

-The Dredge: Black add on "Shadow realm": Every successful basic attack hit on survivors after exiting locker for 10 second count as 2 charge, if the hit put the survivor into the dying state, gain 8 charge instead. Destroy a lock give 1 charge. Catch a survivor inside the locker give 8 charge.

At 80 charge, give The Dredge a "Mori token" and clear all charge, the Dredge cannot gain any token until he use up this one. All locker now will be cover with a black smoke, indicate the hunger of The Dredge.

The next successful basic attack on survivor after exiting the locker in 10s will instantly activate mori animation and clear the token.

The locker now can be lock TWICE.

Stun the killer by any mean to make the Dredge lose 10 charge. If the killer already have the token, pause the add on for 10s.

Special effect: successful basic attack after leaving locker on Haddie Kaur give him 4 charge, if the hit put her in dying state give him 16 charge. Haddie can blind The Dredge by any mean to make him lose 15 charge (can only happen every 5s)


Here just some of the weird stuff I came up with, if you have any crazy Black add on for your favorite killer pls reply, I would love to see how we can torture survivors.

    Yellow Mori: basekit.

    Green Mori: after Gate is powered. Killer can Mori one survivor. No hook required.

    It would prevent tunneling into Mori, while keep it being strong.

    Im really struggling to read your stuff - not sure if english is not your first language but I don't want to mis-read something and get the wrong ideas. If I do then im sorry and please correct me.



    Removing mori is a really silly idea - The only way you ever get value is if you camp someone to second stage on hook. It's really just a tunneling tool now. Stops DS, Stops pallet and flashlight saves, Stops bodyblocking.

    There is an extra endurance effect to get through now but its still good.


    I think mori should be basekit after 6 hooks.

    There already is a Mori rework on the way coming Halloween.

    As the devs explained it, downing the last survivor wlll instantly start the mori animation. It'll teleport the killer and the survivor toa predetermined spot on the map and the mori animation will play out normally and then the match ends.

    No more mori offerings, but more mori animations.

    I'm sorry, my English is not too good.

    I'm not removing Mori, I'm just change it into a new Add on and add a few challenge for the killer to complete before they can claim their kills.

    More like a reward from the Entity, ''you did good, your skill is good, here a token go kill someone before they escape''.

    Current mori is kinda boring, the black add on would provide killer a mini challenge while survivors still have a chance to fight back.

    To me, this mori rework more like a cherry on top than a challenge.
