If stealth killer's kill rates skyrocket after Spine Chill nerf, consider this change
When Spine Chill is changed in the coming mid-chapter patch, it will only activate while in the killer's terror radius.
I think that Spine Chill should also activate if the killer is looking in your direction (as it used to) while you're injured.

If the game is going to warn survivors that they're exposed, injured survivors are just as susceptible to being 1-shot by stealthy killers and need the same warning; especially if it costs them a perk slot.
I've seen many survivors run No Mither with Spine Chill, myself included, but that will no longer be viable.

That's not old Spine Chill then; that's just the new Spine Chill

yeah, but new one is line of sight, old one isn't, so it'll no longer work with stealth killers regardless of new or old change

This feels a bit like giving the stealth killer roster a slice of cake and then taking it just before they can bring the fork down on it.

If kill rates “skyrocket” it won’t be because of some survivors not running Spine Chill. It’s a good perk but there are plenty of other good perks people can use instead.

New Spine Chill will activate while in the killer's terror radius and the perk icon will have a growing strength indicator as the terror radius gets closer/louder. This means the new Spine Chill will do nothing against stealthy killers or killers with undetectable status perks.
The old Spine Chill activated whenever the killer looked in the survivors' direction within 36 meters. I'm suggesting that this should still happen, but only if the survivor is injured, and only if stealth killers become too oppressive.

I for myself will probably use Premonition until I get used to not having any warning again.

If a player has to crutch on spine chill to beat stealth killers, who are all basic m1 killers, then they either need to get better game sense and looping skills or use premonition.
