So if i was to prestige them all now... i would lose all my items and addons... but every killer will have all perks unlocked at level 3 on patch drop right?

Yes, that's right. However if some of the killers did spend tons of bp on perk tiers already then they will reach p3 automatically. You'd need 170 perk tiers in total to do that, better go count them. One page of purple perks equals 45 perk tiers.

Thanks folk, i know it's groundhog day questions, but it just occurred to me that sitting on lvl 50 p0 on every killer when the patch hits may not be a ideal situation for me and i could maximise my returns.

Basically all my killers that have barely hit 50 i should P1 now and those that have pages of purple perks i should leave.

Going to lose hundreds of flans though if i do :(

These flans will be obsolete anyway once you have all perks unlocked for everyone for the rest of time. However if you decide to keep your flans you'll be forced to spend countless hours on grinding (without even having access to something like BBQ) just to get these characters to prestige 3. Save yourself the stress and prestige right away.

It's a decision you have to make for each character.

For me, a character with less than 70 perk tiers and not that many valuable addons and offerings is an easy choice - P1 now.

For characters with a lot of offerings and addons I don't want to lose, I'm just getting as many perk tiers as possible. The goal is 120 since that would put them at P2 lv 50 and they can be made P3 almost immediately after the update.

I think this was a harder decision for Killer mains, since addons etc are much more valuable than survivors generally. Like others said, if you have less that the 70 perk tiers and not a regularly played character, just P1 them. I only really play 3 survivors most of them time, since i have all perks on them, so vast majority of my items/offerings etc are spread between them, the rest i just put BP's into to unlock teachables, so i've spent last few days grinding some BP just to P1 them, focusing on the characters with perks i'd like readily available on anyone, aura reading/exhaustive.

    Well the deed is done.

I own all killers. Every killer that had under 170 perk tiers is now P1, the others i have left. Going by what is planned... i should own every perk on every killer and at perk tier 3 when the update goes live.

Since i will own all perks i should only be seeing items/addons and it will give me a reason to grind a little to get them back.

And hey... i even got some bloody cosmetic weapons a bit early :)

Countless hours on grinding -> so not different from now?

Also, if OP is not interested in the "rewards" (bloddy cosmetic and charms), he can stop at P3, which wouldn't be to bad to grind to, esp with many stored up event offerings.

I am only interested in the perks. Addons, Items and cosmetics come second.

I believe i have now maximised my returns, as currently getting to P3 from P0 in the time available is impossible.

No, there's one big difference. They could sacrifice these flans and immediately skip the grind by getting p3 for free. What point is there even in having flans in the first place? They give you more bp, bp which are usually spent on perks. You won't need them however if you already own all perks.

I must congratulate you, you chose well. How are the survivors looking for you?

From 59 characters in total I'll be able to get the perks of 54 characters. That's quite the feat after 2k hours of playing.

I only have 900 hours of gameplay. I will own every killer perk on all killers at tier 3.

Downside is survivors... all my survivors are level 40 except my Ash (Main), he already has every perk at tier 3. But i have no point in playing any other survivor, other than minor size, sound (soon to be changed) and cosmetics... they are the exact same.

When the patch drops, my survivors will be the exact same... that is the only survivor i play having all perks and all my killers with different abilities will suddenly have all perks.

Thank you for this. I really didn't want to try to do the math, and you just saved me the migraine of figuring that out.

Not really, you won't need to get every character to P3 to get all of the perks available and at Tier 3. If he waits then all of his characters he moves to P1 will keep all of their perks, and if he does this one character at a time then when he's ready to take someone to P2 then they'll also have any Tier 1 Perk that he didn't already.

On their way to 50 for the second time the only Perks showing up are going to be Tiers 2 and 3 of things he didn't already know, and as he moves through the roster every character he gets to is going to need to learn fewer and fewer Perk levels because the Perks they have that are taught by previous characters are going to be upgraded.

It's entirely possible to wind up with all of the Perks at Tier 3 without having to actually get to P3 on all of the characters.

If you do not plan to play the characters after prestiging them to P1 (P3 after mid-chapter), than you can do this, yeah.

For me it's not the right approach, bc I don't have a survivor main but play whoever I feel like. The P1'ed survivors would be "naked" besides perks, but I like to take items, addons and offerings complementing my perk build.

Prestiging in current system is honestly never worth it. Getting all the perks you need one by one will be fast and easy in the new bloodweb system.
