Are unlocks really "unlocked"?
So i ground all my survivors to level 40 with the exception of a couple of which i unlocked their perks in the shrine... i also have a survivor main. This technically unlocked all perks for every survivor but just had to be ground on who i wanted.
Now that the patch has gone live... i am seeing every survivor with locked perks at the top... does this mean the perks i got from the shrine are just gone unless i already ground them and does this mean any new survivors i get (a new release) wont have any perks unlocked until i grind every survivor to P1!?
That is NOT what i was told by mods... i was told that shrine unlocks and existing unlocks would remain unlocked... i even specifically raised this concern up prior.

This has me concerned. Surely at the top the perks should be unlocked if what i was told was true...

No, that just means that a new character won´t have those 3 perks instantly on lvl 1.

But they would be unlocked in the new characters bloodwebs right? And if so, where is the mechanic to show what is available!?
If not... i was lied to and i have to do even more grinding on characters i already unlocked access to those perks... also if not... i have spent thousands in shards...

You still have the teachable unlocked, that is what level 40 gives you. Those locks at the top are prestige rewards. They give that character perks to everyone else instantly without unlocking them

Yes, the perks are unlocked on the bloodweb. Just like they were before the patch.

This isn't what Peanits said a few weeks back. That teachables unlocked prior to the changes would be converted into automatic unlocks at level 1 for all characters.

If a new survivor character drops... and i do not have the immediate ability to grind the perks i have ALREADY unlocked via levelling to 40 or via the shrine in the new character's blood web "because i have only prestiged one survivor"... i have thrown shards down the drain and was manipulated or lied to... as i am going to have to go back and grind characters i have already grinded, just to unlock perks on the new character.
If they have removed teachables from the bloodwebs... the lack of a mechanic to show what you have unlocked makes me worry there is not actually a mechanic of remembering what you had unlocked...
