Survivor Queues are Crazy Long
Anyone else experience 3+ minute queues?

Yep. Been like that all day. Usually during day I get instant lobbies as survivor, it isn't until night time that it slows down, but today as soon as the match incentive said 100% BP my survivor wait became 5+ minutes and it never improved. Just before the patch released I was playing and had instant lobbies as survivor.
I think the incentive is one of those BHVR things where it's a nice idea but poorly implemented.

Killer play gets buffed, survivor play gets nerfed.
A portion of survivors bugger off & decide to have fun elsewhere.

Then survivor ques would be shorter but that's not the case tho

Yeah, it's been nutter butters since I got home and seems to show no sign of improvement
I'd think all those survivors who swore off the game forever after their favorite perk got cut down would have made a dent in the queue time but I guess not. I guess I'll have to see if solo queue is as awful as people are saying later once it calms down a bit.

Killer ques have also been instant.
A few things could be happening, the first most likely option is that it is currently bugged and stuck on 100% for survivor.
The second, is that they could have increased que times for survivor to put together better matches.

The second would Aldo effect killer q times because they would also be trying to put them into better matches.

Not necessarily.

Not if the survivor numbers have dropped drastically & you're waiting to be matched with 3 survivors around the same MMR.
I hope they adjusted the random MMR in the update since they're now incentivising playing a particular role.

The only way it wouldn't is if they were taking time to match survivor closely and then throwing the first killer into that lobby. It would be pretty pointless because you just end up with the same imbalanced matches except it would be all baby survivors going against a pro killer and vice versa.

Queue time lasts longer than the game itself

That was my thought exactly, they find the survivors first and then match them as a group to a killer.

In that case killer queue times would have also been much longer. And at least for me, they were pretty much instant this evening.

Mine are okay, no more than 2 minutes. Ping is high though..

I mean, there's a permanent double bloodpoint bonus attached to survivor right now. And I can only speak for myself, but killer's feeling pretty naked without those sweet BBQ stacks. I'm surprised the queues aren't longer.

I think the bonus blood points for playing survivor is bugged. Killer Queue is instant and Survs is around 3min for me, which (in my head) would mean there are way more survivors than killers.

The more Survivors start to find something else to play that's actually balanced, has working hitboxes, and is equally rewarding. The longer the queue's will get. calling it now.
And before any Killers come in. I play both sides. And a LOT of changes on Killer was a little overkill today. But both sides should have an equal amount of chance and fun and that's just not happening this patch.

Hey, at least you get multiplicative 100% bp bonus, that's great, right?

You've got it backwards, though. Long survivor queue times means too many survivors. Right now there are more survivors queued up than the 4:1 ratio the game works off of. Which is pretty normal for this time of day.
It's long killer queue times that means there's not enough survivors. Mostly you see this after new chapter releases.

killer is instant getting crappy BP and survivors taking like 10 to 15 min something wrong here.....

Probably this is the answer, and not only just 100% it's 2x BP AFTER all offerings and such.

Oh? I'd assumed it was a +100% like a party streamer or a Blood Rush event. If it's a straight x2 multiplier, that's awesome.

I'm pretty sure about it at least for now, with 2 party ribbon I got 200k bp from a match AS A SURVIVOR lmao
