New progression system is awful
I was worried about this but what I figured would happen is true for the new progression system. When you are at level 50 you have a huge bloodweb and can get a bunch of good items/addons. Being forced to prestige you have small blood webs with all trash on them so it's a lot harder to get anything good. This new system is horrible.

Agreed, its ridicoulus how many BP you need for some purple items...

I think it is pretty good. The bloodweb connections have changed and it deletes a lot of nodes, easily over half.

Good? You realize to get new perks take forever now, right? You get one perk per bloodweb instead of the 4 once you were at 50. Waaaay too much of a grind to get perks on characters you didn't have fully perked (most of my killers).

That's where prestiging characters who own the perks come in. Do that even once and every character you own gets this 3 perks at tier 1, no bloodwebs required. From there you can either keep prestiging that one person from P1 to P2 or 3 (unlocking more perks on them in the process) or just focus your BP on who you want the perk(s) on to begin with.

I'm astonished to see complaints about this new system which is phenomenal, although I must admit there shouldn't be any BP cost to prestige but still, it's excellent.
rare items should be rare and hard to get

This comment tells me you have no idea of the game... Some Killer need green or purple addons in order to have at least a small chance vs a swf..

well, you didn't quote me but presume you meant my comment? I have faced swf before and I have owned and been owned by them, I play with and without addons, and I rarely use anything higher than green.

Agree, that's why I was making my Steve been P3 before update. The amount of BP what u using in to the blood web is Increased even more, because every new lvl will cost u 20k BP which I think is super joke

I thought they said they will increase the chances of rare and higher quality items in the bloodweb but I still didn't see any on my way to 30 + which is confusing. I don't mind this system as much as I mind other stuff with this update but it is kinda weird. Maybe getting better chances of higher quality items and addons in the bloodweb with each prestige would be nicer.
Because eg at prestige 10 u already have a lot of brown addons, offerings etc while missing the better stuff in comparison and u get only few levels of bloodweb at the very end to acquire some of these only to be put back to the common ones.

Yeah, they said they will increase the chances. But it's not here yet. Maybe one of next updates.
