This patch is killing the game
I am sorry, I have always been a BHVR and DBD fanboy (see my posting history for confirmation) but this patch is too much.
It is neither interesting nor fun to play a game you cannot win.
- * the new gen regression/slowdown + extra 10 seconds is just insane, and absolutely boring
- * sloppy/thana every match lose/lose situation
- * camping and tunnelling increased (if old BT/DS could really stop camping and tunnelling how is this new cheap knockoffs going to do it?
- * 20k BP to prestige? why?!?
- * legion/plague with thana REALLY? who approved this? most boring experience ever
At this stage I am taking a break, hopefully if the numbers go down substantially BHVR will decide to revert some of these changes.
These latest DBD year has been rough and we all know the main culprit: MMR.
MMR just made DBD into an unbearable experience and now these changes to try and get the killer population back will destroy the survivor population.
How about you remove MMR once and for all and you revert some of these changes? and please address camping for real

The 20K cost to prestige is mind boggling. Who the hell came up with that idea?? It COMPLETELY goes against the efforts in this update to “reduce the grind.” What the hell?? Every little bit helps. Its not needed and doesn’t make sense to implement.

20k cost isnt bad, unless its 20kx2 each time you prestige.

It's been good so far. I'm unaffected by they perk changes and solo survivor is still enjoyable.

You were a Bhvr fanboy as long as they kept favouring survivors, the moment they buffed killers, you're not a fan anymore?

Yea I’m not a fan of them removing the BP associated with perks at all. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s an incentive and a well deserved one.

So far solo feels slightly harder, other than that the game is unchanged.

Maybe you got boosted by those Anti Tunneling Perks. Killers got bullied to leaving the game when MMR was introduced. Now that BHVR is trying match SWF to Killers, Everyone wants to leave all of sudden.
The only thing I agree with is Solo queue needing a buff. So far the Update just barely made Killer able to stand a chance against SWF. Besides have you heard of "Adapting"? It's just the first day. Blight was considered unplayable and super strong on his release with collision and how hard he is to play but people adapted.
