Can you revert the Iron Will and Decisive Strike changes?

The survivors are way too noisy and it’s getting annoying at some point since you can’t hide from the Killer. And decisive strike nerf was so uncalled for.. 3 sec stun and disabled at end game? The killer can now easily tunnel the person when the last gen popped and you can’t do anything about it.

What does everyone think about it? Revert it or let is stay this way?

iron will was necessary. You should not be able to hide when you are injured. DS can be reverted, i dont care about this perk

I think that 2 things are needed now:

    • An option as survivor to disable the grunts, some survivors are so annoying.
    • Equally the sounds from every survivor, since for example Jane is much louder than others. Or elodie.

I dont care about DS or DH nerfs. It can be always replaced with something...but Iron Will? That was breaking point for me. Im refusing to play this game without it (after 6 years & over 3000 hours).

And because im afraid BHVR will not do anything about it, it seems like i quit for good. :)

Off The Record gives you 100% sound reduction for 80 seconds after both unhooks.

Using Self-Care combined with Bite the Bullet lets you hide somewhere and be silent while also giving you a little healing progress.

Oh no, the one perk that singlehandedly erases one whole detection aspect, even more than it should, and had no way of countering, since the strider nerf, has been weakened. How could you ever play without it unlike the droves of other survivors that do and did fine without it.

Iron will is more fair like it is now.

The DS soon station should probably go back to 5 seconds.

DS should have its stun duration buffed to 5 seconds again.

Iron Will got a deserved nerf, but I think they went too far. It being useless while Exhausted isn't needed imo.

Quitting because of a Perk change? You're pathetic

Why? Survivor do all gen, open gates and him are punish?

this game doesn't need to destroy perks but make the killer stronger.

    Iron will nerf was necessary.

    Ds nerf wasn't.

Also they said they are looking at the volumes of different grunts of pain so that Bill isn't 10x louder than Meg while Ace basically has iron will for free

I would be fine with that knowing the killer can still here me but wow it gets annoying

Iron Will was overly nerfed. The exhaustion penalty should be removed and the percentages for the grunts of pain should be at least 95%.

The DS stun time definitely needs to be reverted to 5s. As expected, the 3s is an absolute joke and the deactivation in endgame just makes the perk pointless.

Iron will no. That perk gave way to much for to little

DS should be reverted. If you don't have time to get outside of a nurses blink range then what's the point?

And in what point does it help to not hear the annoying sounds when injured?

I just want something that i dont need to hear Jane moaning like she is shagged good. I think also many survs runned iron will so they dont need to hear it themself.

I think iron will would have been more fun if it was reworked like instead of just altering the volume of grunts of pain it completely silences you while crouched or hiding in a locker. Something a bit different would have been nice. That way there's a trade off, you're sacrificing the distance you could have made leaving the loop for the chance to lose the killer completely.

The ds nerf was too much though, I'll agree with you there.

Iron Will is part of Off the Record.

DS was too strong with 5secs against M1-Killers especially, with 3 secs it seems a bit too powerless.

Maybe 4secs is the way to go.

If that's just your concern then Behaviour already addressed it saying that they are going to normalize the survivor voices so that some are not abnormally louder than others and others (ACE) aren't totally silent.

What I think they should do to these perks

    Decisive Strike:

    • revert the stun duration to 5 seconds
    • it should be disabled in the end game

    Iron Will:

    • it should mute your grunts of pain by 100%
    • it should not work when exhausted
    • it should not render you completely silent; normal breathing should still be a thing. Before the nerf it just completely muted your breathing which is dumb. why was an injured survivor quieter than a healthy one? probably bad coding again.

I'm with ya on just about everything there except iron will mute 100 %.

I'll go for the 100% while crouching and not moving. This makes it more realistic because in reality if your hurt it would take some concentration to actually be completely silent.

i mean with what i wrote you wouldnt be silent, you just would wail in pain.

before the nerf iron will made you 100% silent

imo it should ve just made the painful groaning into normal breathing. you can track sound easily with just normal breathing but it would still be less effective than before the nerf.

BHVR nerfing all meta survivor perks while leaving nurse and blight the same tells you on which side they are

The iron will nerf was needed, but I do think the DS stun nerf should be reverted.

Yeah but if your running around you should be grunting in pain albeit quieter than normal

If you run Off the Record you get benefits that resemble both Iron Will and Decisive Strike rolled into one.

I wish they'd revert both, just make it so you can still hear survivors breathing with iron will enabled. Keep DS disabled at endgame but the rest is fine.

Honestly I think they should revert the stun, keep the disable at endgame, leave Iron will the way it is, and revert Spine Chills nerf

Because the killer downs a survivor near an exit gate and literally can't do anything about it. Killers picks them up: survivor uses DS and escapes. Killer leaves them on the ground: survivor crawls out and escapes.

You haven't won until you've escaped. End game is still part of the game.

Yeah they made those two perks useless. Ds should have a 7 second stun instead and iron will should completely revert. Crazy they made ds a 3 second stun, makes it utterly useless.

I don’t think iron will needed a nerf. It already had counterplay, pools of blood and scratch marks. It wasn’t impossible to find someone with it.

also DS changes weren’t necessary. Every person I’ve seen use it since the update went down again within seconds.

IW, no. That perk was way too strong for what it was.

DS should go back to 5 seconds. The endgame nerf can stay.
