SWF isn't going anywhere. At this point it may as well be the standard. And knowing where the other survivors are only when someone is on a hook is hardly all the information in the world. It's a necessary QoL change.

And it's fine that you run whatever you want to, I'm not telling anyone what to run I'm simply giving a build idea for people who think gens aren't going fast enough

I mean, that's really not the norm. Still haven't had one match like that, and I have been playing survivor a lot.
Not that it's not a problem though, it is, but I for one haven't gone against it yet, not even once. And I am pretty sure that is not what the OP was referring to.

Clearly it's not, but how often is that actually happening?
Taking the most extreme example possible and citing it as if it were the new normal is disingenuous.
It's like the taking 5 endurance hits thing during PTB; sure it's possible but are you ever going to actually see it? Very rarely.

You mean like the extreme example killers used for 4men swf with 4 meta perks? true

4men swf with 4 meta perks was also not the norm yet here we are aren't we? solo q just nerfed, again

No doubt it would be strong. But what could the Killer gain out of that if it takes all game to get that setup?
Pre patch spending 2/3 of a game setting up was a certain way to lose as you couldn't really deal with split gens if no one was dead yet. And if you killed someone, then odds are you didn't have time to set that build up from gens flying by.
Post patch. We'll have to wait and see. My guess is that it wont be all that bad and be more or less the same. If Plague goes for the setup, she wont have that many kills and thus wont be able to deal with a gen split. If Plague goes for kills, then she wont have time to setup.

I saw 4 man teams running that same 4 or 5 perks at least once or twice a day if I played at least a few hours of killer. A lot of people did and there's metric tons of footage of it. And the published usage stats reflect how common that was.
That's not at all comparable.
164 second gens are going to be a once in a blue moon thig for most people.
The better comp is the 5 endurance hits thing I cited above.

I know virtually EVERYONE says this but if you make solo as powerful as a 4 man sweat squad. If every single match for killer is just try hard, stress inducing. No one will want to play killer and the game will actually die.

I shouldn't have to bring builds to combat a gen taking almost 3 minutes to complete. The way that there isn't a repair debuff cap yet is ridiculous.

Gens were deadly boring to do and now it's even way worst so less survivors gonna commit to them.
2 -
When and how did you get 164 second gens?
4 stacks of Thana + Pentimento?
You... are rarely going to see that.
Thana is only really usable on two killers; Legion and Plague.
Yeah, Thana hurts but nothing you can't power through, especially against Legion who has no chase power otherwise.
Pentimento... okay, few problems.
1) You need to do a totem. There's no reason to do a totem unless it's something like Devour when boons exist now.
2) If you DO do the totem, the team should know where the Pentimento totem is.
3) Devour + Penti + Thana... Of the buildso far, you have an M1 killer that'll have a hard time getting downs if played well, and will have their back broken if the Devour is blessed instead of cleansed. Plus, it'll only ensure 1 Penti stack, which can easily be removed.
