Can we please have an option to turn off that chat filter.
It censors so randomly and so poorly that I can't even communicate about the game.

I don't understand why we cannot control our own level of censorship. I should have the right to turn it on or off. I'm not afraid of mean words.

A toggle for switching the filter on or off would only work unidirectional your side, you cannot make it bidirectional bc then you could force your slurs to be seen by others. And if you have it disabled on your side, how do you know if the filter randomly filtered something the otther won't be able to read, maybe not even understanding what youy wanted to say? It just does not work.

We should absolutely have an option to disable the chat filter for ourselves.
It should also have a pop up when you deactivate it that says "I'm not a four-year-old who's going to go on a forum to cry because someone said a bad word to me, so I agree to disable this" that you have to agree to.

I agree with being able to turn the chat filter off.
I have it turned off in every game that has one just because I'd like to know what someone says to either be able to respond since it was nothing bad or to report them.
If it is censored i don't know if it was normal talk or insults....

Game shouldn't be rated18+ with a chat filter. Change it to T for teens.

tbh the insane amount of false positives is enough to warrant making it optional, I've never seen a more misguided auto-filter system for a chat. And i've been using the discord one.

BHVR your chat censorship is atrociously bad, please remove it or give us the option to turn it off for ourselves. Ir censors words like "you", "sadge", "claudette", "adam" and many other common innocent words. It just frustrates players, especially when we want to say "you did a great job", the entire sentence is censored, it's so stupid.

When I can't even type phrases with the word "kill" in it...in a game where my objective is frequently stated to be to kill other players, there's a bloody problem. Why do the devs think that throwing a human being on a meathook and listening to them scream in agony is totes cool, but saying the word "dick" in the endgame chat will cause irreversible trauma?

It's a mature game. Please allow me to disable it. Not only that, but it is horrible in what it censors.
I try to say, "GGWP Talbot, GLNG"................."GGWP ######, GLNG".
TALBOT is literally the first name of a KILLER in your game. It's absolutely ridiculous, and truly frustrating when you're misunderstood, and sometimes people think you're being a jerk. I can't say, "Wish I ran BOND", because it turns into "Wish I ran ####". Face camp / tunnel, etc all censored. If I don't want to see end game chat........................I can just disable it. Please stop censoring me.

I'm still baffled by how many slurs are regularly written in the post-game chat,get censored and nothing happens... Surely sending slurs should just ban you...?

Mean words? They censor random words. Names of their own character and even "GG"

What I wanna know is why it won't censor the same people. I have had games where it censored "Myers" when I said it, but when another player said it, it was fine.
