In Your Opinion, Which Perks Are Forming The New Meta?

Curious as to which perks people are seeing a lot of since the update and anything that is looking like it’ll become meta. For me personally, Thanatophobia has been a stand out for killers so far and I haven’t really seen any major standouts for survivors yet.

Surprisingly, it should be Lethal Pursuer

    And probably brutal strength. STBFL

Some killer normally has their own aura add-on which Lethal pursuer buff on top, combo with one more reading perk, and you can find survivor easily. With more aura reading, you can find which gens to interrupt the repairing too.

Also, beginning of the game, you can get to chase quicker as well.

Definitely Proof Thyself will become meta since doing generators without it is way slower than it used to be. Also the additional bloodpoint bonus is pretty nice since they increased the cap, making this perk far more useful than it already was. I'm also pretty sure that Lithe or Sprint Burst will become meta, since people seem to enjoy exhaustion perks and these two seem to be the more reliable ones. I've seen a lot of Eruption on killers recently, might become a meta perk since it's strong (especially on non-m1 killers) and it's cooldown isn't too bad compared with the incapacitated it provides (25s. of incapacitated is really good and annoying). Lethal also has great potential on every killer that can end chases quickly, so a great pick for Huntress and Trickster (especially in combination with Darkness Revealed and Iron Maiden). But I really hope there will be no this-is-the-way-to-go meta, since that would mean that nothing really ganged (besides really broken perks got made more fair and fun to play against).

Demogorgon's best build will probably be something along the Lind of:

Lethal Pursuer, Scourge Hook: Floods Of Rage, Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance and No Way Out (or maybe even I'm All Ears).

Save The Best For Last is not meta, it's not worth the Perk slot when Demogorgon's second best Add-On does what it does but better

For survivor I think Lightweight will definitely end up meta. I haven't tried it but was watching a cpl different streamers run it earlier and the killers kept losing them. Massive time wasting perk.

Off The Record, as expected. Botany Knowledge is pretty good as well, even though it reduces your medkit charges. Streetwise can be pretty good, as it offsets Botany's efficiency penalty, and can be combo'd with Built To Last and a Commodious Toolbox/charge add-ons to make the toolbox build that I may or may not have come up with. DS should still be meta as well because you can taunt the killer with it, since them chasing and hooking you again requires them to get stunned, and probably also deal with 2-3 health states just because of Off The Record. I expect there to be experimentation with endgame perks other than Adrenaline, like Hope and No One Left Behind.

Thanataphobia seems pretty popular. With kicking gens being more worth it and Pain Res losing its information, Surveillance has a chance to become meta again. Because people are more confident with killer because of the basic attack/sprint burst qol changes, there's less Blights and Nurses, because people for the first time feel that they can actually win with Demogorgon, Clown, Doctor, etc. Darkness revealed and Dissolution have a new chance to be tested to see if they could possibly be meta. And of course Call Of Brine/Overcharge is very popular.

call of brine + eruption seems pretty good. also stbfl on killers that can use it

Very situational because depends on the map. I still have to try it myself, and since solo Q is unplayable I don't think I will play anytime soon, but I can see it being good in indoor maps. Otherwise, Lucky Break does what Lightweight does but better, so... meta? Meh, I don't know.

In my opinion, they only really buffed BT and Off the Record, and those two don't make up for the nerfs the other perks got (Iron Will, Spine Chill, Deadhard, DS) so overall survivors are much weaker than before with nothing gained.

Off the record. Nothing else really matters at the moment, it will take time to figure it out, but realistically, they did a pretty good job of shaking up the meta... Besides off the record. I mean, I guess it is technically new, but why they thought that would be balanced?

I have lethal pursuer, floods of rage and StBFL on almost all my builds now and its a blast.

OTR is most certainly part of the META.

For the rest, I'm still experimenting.

Lucky Break helps quite a lot. It also occurred to me it could also be useful against a Nurse, given how weak she is against stealth.

Iron will isn't as good as before, but if one goes for stealth, it helps. Not sure I'll keep it though.

DS, as weak as it is, still makes a chase longer and may allow to escape the killer. After all, all that matters in a chase is to last the longest possible.

Perk meta is the same as before. Only thing that got shaken up is that the perk icons are different.

    Survivors meta:

CoH, borrowed, off the record, prove thyself and exhaustion perks except DH

It's not balanced you're right, much easier for the killer than old DH DS combo. I haven't lost a single game as killer since the update and off the record didn't make a big difference in my chases cause they don't gain that much distance. Maybe harder for Bubba cause he can't just saw through the dead hard like before.

I dont know if MTEA but i was enjoying Lethal Pursuer a lot with perks like BBQ, Im all ears,Darkness revealed, addons and stuff.

With ghostface Lethal is fantastic and still have some perk value over the game. Love that change, at minimun its fun to use.

sprint burst+off the record. too many people just hit you automatically off the hook when camping. I use sprint burst to not get hit instantly after getting unhooked,

SB+OTR seems like new meta with endurence stacking nerf killing dead hard. Real shame, the dead hard is pretty fun perk to run now, too bad you never get to use it past first chase.

We'll be seeing Prove, Lightweight. Since OtR and DS don't work endgame I bet we'll see more Adrenaline. BT will still be run a lot since it's even stronger now, but the meta at high MMR for solos might become 4 OtR and simply leave stragglers to die endgame. Lucky Break will see usage, especially paired with OtR. And funnily enough, Distortion will see more play to try and counter the new Lethal Aura reading builds.

Lithe and SB are still strong. Overcome will see some play too.
