Overbuffed Gen Slowdown/Regression

I'm very glad that how long gens take to get done was upped, but generators taking five minutes is quite frankly incredibly unfun to interact with. Thanatophobia + Gift of Pain + Jolt + Pain Resonance or Overcharge or Dying Light or whatever gen regression you could throw on there is severely miserable to play against. I do wish that the new gen speeds were taken into account when the slowdown and regression perks were buffed. Thanatophobia really didn't need a buff, considering gens already take longer, and Gift of Pain hurts so bad. Using these new slowdown perks has given me a nearly 100% win rate with 5 gens left nearly every one of these games. I'm very glad killer has been buffed but something needs to be done about these games that are taking 10, 15, even 20 minutes and not a single generator is getting done.

Edit: I think that, on their own, each of these perks are fine... But when a killer goes in with a full loadout of 4 of the strongest gen regression and slowdown perks, this compounds into an abysmal accumulation of slowdowns that brings the game to a standstill practically before it even starts.

I guess BHVR's theory was: "since the basekit is improved, players will now experiment more with other perks." But the problem is that many players can and will continue to use 4 slowdown perks (even if it's a different combination of perks than before) because it remains highly effective (and in many matches, downright oppressive).

Now, to be fair, it's hard to say whether the 4 best slowdown perks now (plus the 10 second extra gen time) are actually giving you more slowdown during the match than the best slowdown perks gave before the patch. But slowdown definitely feels very strong (maybe stronger) for killers now, especially since your base chasing power has also been buffed.

I honestly wonder if it would be a good idea to put a cap on slowdown perks ("use up to 3 of the following" or something like that, which would still be plenty).

I believe gen regression was gutted. The best REGRESSION perk is Call of Brine. Pain Resonance is overrated. It has no synergy. Since we don't know what generator to pressure, the 15% regression is undone in seconds. CoB is the most consistent. Even then, CoB isn't anything too cray and you need either Eruption or Overcharge to make it. Basically, 2 perk slots to make it viable. That's yikes.

I think what is very strong is PASSIVE slowdown. Perks like Deadlock, Gift of Pain, and Thana are very powerful.

We're basically in a stalling meta for killer where we just make gens take forever, with almost no real means of regressing them.

I'm a killer main. I'd cap it at 2. I personally have only used one. It was pop up to this point, but in undecided on which to use, now. Experimenting with eruption. Jolt seems too RNG if you're downing them near a gen or not b

Don't forget Dying Light. Nerfed Dead Hard + 10 seconds to finish any gen makes is so much easier to get stacks of Dying Light.
